This is my first DL trip I havent tried anything there before.

Get a park hopper ticket for sure so you can go to both parks. Cars Land at California Adventure is a must---even if you're not a "cars" fan the area is a wonderful addition to the park.

Does DL have babysitters like WDW does?
Meaning if I brought my DD8, could I call the sitter service to stay with her while I ran the Tink?

Yes !!!! Since the parks are so close to each other you will not have to "commute" to the parks like you have to do in WDW. Just about a 15 min walk (walking fast) from Stovall's by cutting through the Grand Californian Hotel-through DTD then you're at the parks. Honestly--very easy once you do it.
For some rides there are fast passes. Single rider lines are also a way to go too. Check out Disneyland Resort.com for maps and helpful info. Then you can figure out what is a must do and see while you are visiting.

I'm already making my list. What I dont know about is the restaurants, and the DTD there. I will bring my breakfast foods with me, snacks, and possibly lunches. I have an issue with gluten too. People are telling me by myself I will get lonely. I think it will be fun though.

So jealous!! I would love to go down right now, I was looking at pics w/ all the spring flowers and was sad I still have 5 1/2 months.

You are going to have SO much fun!! For Stovall's ~ if you have an AAA card you should be able to get it down. I just checked and they have double beds for $91 plus tax still.

For eating, pop over to the DL threads ~ link and also check in the search for that thread specifically, b/c I know people talk on and off about restaurants that can work for them and were to go for more info. Don't worry about being alone, you'll have fun. I've done it before and am 50/50 on Tink, the best part is everything is on your schedule, you can eat when you want, ride when you want, you don't have to answer to anyone.

You wont be by yourself for long. I went to the princess alone and I met some wonderful people. One of them I am having lunch with next week!!
Another invited me to stay with her next year for the princess.

Also, I am going solo to the Tink too (that is if my friend can not come) even with her we would love to meet other princess's!

You wont get lonely! You will meet other ladies on this board traveling down there solo and you can always meet up with them!

I know I can't wait !!!!! I love the spring flowers at the park and getting the handmade Easter Eggs isn't too bad either. With the nice weather we've had over the weekend I was really trying to "work in" a quick overnight trip too...but DH was not feeling it...so I'll just have to wait a little longer.
