There are two, dopey challenge and dopey challenge 2014. The former has more members ~450. Good discussions sometimes. Definitely a lot of excited people, like me! A bunch are doing dumbo too (I wish)

Hey y'all! Just found the thread and am looking forward to joining the discussion. I've done the marathon the last three years and I'm nervous, but excited (!) about Dopey! Bring on the BLING!

Ooof. I enjoy speedwork while I am running it, but the next morning? Yowtch.

Last night was 200m repeats. It's part of a training program for a fast 5k, but I am doing it to make speedwork a habit again.

I'm glad the schedule called for 200m. It could have been 600s, but the heat index was pushing 100, and that's just plain unpleasant.

About to wrap up my first ever 200 mile month! I am actually thrilled that Dopey gave me the kick in the pants I needed to train better.

Yuck. I think we have 600s next week - hoping the heat index is down by then. If it isn't, I certainly won't be adding any extra of them!

I'm happy that the goofy medal got some love. Not sure how I feel about the Dopey medal, but I'm sure it''ll be awesome once I'm wearing it.

A friend has suggested that it would be awesome in future years if the 6 dopey medals could come together like Voltron to form a single giant mega-bling.

I am so excited about the medals! They are all fabulous! Some are upset that the individual race medals are not colored, but I think Dopey and Goofy should be a little more special, since they are harder to earn!

I agree. I think the Dopey should have been a lot more POW WOW. I thought they did a great job with the Mickey one this year, in celebrating the 20 years...it was color and swirled around to reveal a modern Mickey and then an older black and white version. They did a great job on that. In 2012 the Donald half was colored and looked really nice.
I was hoping for a totally colorful Dopey...

As for the Goofy , it looks very nice but I cannot image what the following years will be to celebrate 15 years.
