I see folks have already booked rooms, but even at the WDW website, says no rooms available. Are you able to book if you call (cuz I have a hard time believing all the rooms are booked....in January).

We use one of the bigger Disney travel agents. They always get a block of discounted group rate rooms for Marathon weekend. You might want to check with one of them. I think our room at the contemporary is about 40% off based on historical rates.

If you are doing a room only booking at this point, what kind of deposit are they making you put down this far out?

I know what days we will be there for the marathon, but we are not yet sure if we are going to do any parks.

For our room the deposit was 1 nights rate. The deposit is fully refundable any time before you make the final payment.

I called in to rundisney. I saw it mentioned on a running blog and wanted it confirmed. However, I can't seem to log into the ap site right now. Are they switching to a new site?

Most definitely you can enter. You will need access to the member site or have him forward you the URL for the site once published on 4/3. It will have the same look and feel as the regular Active site. At the coupon code spot add the DVC discount code and away you go.


With regard to AP and Visa, I would bet the farm on having an early entry again this year.

can you PM me as well....asked an agency for a quote for a "moderate resort" room today and received a 495/night room offer back.
