Official 2013 MVMCP Information

Maybe this has been answered, but what time do i need to get a spot for the fireworks and where should I watch it from??? Thanks!

Here's out party review..

Nov 8th.... Sold out party..
DH waited in line for santa starting at 5pm.
I took the kids and did the shopping.. You could buy party items at starting around 5:30-6ish must show party band to check out.
Santa came our right at 7pm..
Went to Donald daisy and Scrooge.. I waited (35min), while DH took girls on dumbo (4 times) ..
Rode under the sea and met Ariel with no wait.. Ariel spent ALOT of time with my girls..
Went over to liberty sq. to watch fireworks.. DD (2) couldn't handle them.. So we went into the dance party
The dance party at this time was EMPTY!!!! Jessie and woody were dancing with each other,,
When we walked in they came running over, to play with the kids.. Photo pass guy there took tons of pics!
Went to Pooh, but was told to come back..
Watched the castle show.. (Can't remember the time)
Went back to pooh... they came out about 10:25.. Got done just in time to walk down Main Street to watch the 2nd parade by the fire station..
Main Street was Packed!!! I had thought by the 2nd parade people would have cleared out..nope.
The 1st parade and 2nd were the same amount of crowds
Over all got Most what we wanted done
We missed Flynn, but had seen him a few days before at the international gateway..
We also met periwinkle earlier in the day.. With a 20min wait.. Although 50min was posted.. I've never seen this wait time ever change, even tho the real wait time is much less.
Overall we thought it was well worth the money.. Santa pics alone save $30 and a line at the mall..
And the great pics of our family, saved us the hassle of going to the local studio, for christmas cards..
But we prefer the Halloween party on nov 1st.. Didn't seem so crowded, and more things to do, so people are more wide spread..
We may do it again when the kids are older, and can stay out until midnight..
Well that's my review..

Thanks for the review! It's only a shame that the crowds didn't clear out much but it sounds like it affect the fun.

Mickey and Minnie MVMCP as well as the Chip and Dale pin has sold out. Donald and the Toy Soldier is still available. according to two people I have spoken too, the pins are completely sold out and won't be available at the remaining parties.

Can you get into the park early with the mvmcp ticket? The official party time is 7pm, but you can go into the park with your party ticket as early as 4pm, right?

There must not have been a limit. When DL had its 50th birthday, the special edition pins were limited to two.

I just checked eBay and the 2013 MVMCP pins are up for bid...geez...

This is what I would have thought. We've been to MNSSHP twice the week of Halloween and once right on Halloween. Every time we've been able to get pins. How can the Christmas party be completely sold out of two pins after only 3 or 4 nights?! I'm hoping the CM's who spoke to the pp were misinformed. Our kids buy very few souvenirs on our trips, but the pins from the events we attend are keepsakes they like to get. This is disappointing if true.

Really hoping they have all four pins when we go on the 15th of Dec. I have looked at the park maps on line but would like to see them bigger. Is there a place I can see one if not how early to they place them out on mvmcp nights?

We were at the MNSSHP on Oct 17th and all of the pins were sold out before this party. DS was very disappointed. I was surprised at the very limited edition. The CM we spoke to said they went very quickly and they did not hold any back for later parties so I wouldn't count on any being available at the later MVMCP dates either. :-(

Not happy to hear this or with the thought of having to buy my kids' souvenirs, for a very expensive ticketed event, on ebay after the fact (at an inflated price) because TPTB either Scrooged-out on inventory or didn't feel the need to manage their "exclusive event merchanise" inventory appropriately to accommodate more of their guests.

HI - any of you who just returned or are at the WORLD now want to update on the weather? I'm wondering about the evenings - is it chilly? I live in Nebraska and it has been a bit cold here and it appears to be this way across the map...

I'm starting to think about what to pack for my December 6th arrival Realizing that anything can change - but if it is already a bit chilly there it probably will not get any warmer - just colder - I think

ditto for us north of the border!
On our last December trip, while waiting for the bus in the a.m. - wearing shorts & hoodies - we found ourselves chatting with a young guy who was in jeans and a hoody, with the hood up, sipping a coffee and visibly shivering. He asked us where we were from. We said Ontario, Canada. He replied "I thought so, either that or Minnesota!"

It's actually warming up again...back to the 80's for this coming weekend.
