There's no way to know what characters are going to be out during the party's yet is there? I would imagine it would be easier to meet them during the parties?

I did, and it didn't specify MVMCP; just as the very same text didn't when I found it on my own search attempt, thus my request for clarification. But thanks for the snarky response just the same. ITinkSo was kind enough to provide the additional info I was seeking.

We are looking to do MVMCP on the 12/19, we will be spending all day at MK. I'm looking forward to the special sorcerer cards for MVMCP goers, do you think there will be enough time to play if I pick the cards up exactly at 4 p.m. To play before the party starts at 7? We have never played the game before but I really want to use the cards and that will be our last day at MK to do it.

No problem. I hesitated in initially linking because the blurb was kinda buried in the article.

I do hope someone reports on what the waits are like for Jingle Cruise - we definitely want to ride but we have to schedule around both parades. DD is performing in the parade and it's our main focus of the party!

The special MVMCP edition card won't be available until 7:00 p.m. as soon as the Party begins. They won't be issued earlier, sorry.

We are going to Disney in Dec and I called tonight to book our MVMCP tickets. We have all our plans set and planned to go to the party on our last day, on Sun Dec 15th. After realizing that was a party night and it was our last day, we had to choose that day as our party day(we already planned to go one of our days), because we always end our last night in MK. Usually we go our first or second day on vacay. So, I called tonight and was on the automated line, it asked what day and I said Dec 15th. I was crushed when it said Sorry, that party day is sold out!! I really didn't expect it to be sold out yet! I was getting very upset, trying to see how we could change our plans and book a different day which would also mean losing an ADR. I was getting a thread open to ask if anyone knew if they ever opened up more spots. Then, my oh smart and wonderful DD23, was on her ipad quietly checking to see what dates were sold out on the Disney website and only Nov 8th was listed as sold out! So, she tried to buy our two tickets, me nervously waiting, lol, and it seemed to go thru, but at the end it said something wrong with CC info. We tried several times and it said the same thing and I thought maybe cause it was sold out, definitely nothing wrong with that card. Then I said lets switch CC's and we tried my Disney visa and it went thru!!! Called back just to see if I got it wrong and then the automated line said there were limited tickets available. Very strange, lol, but very, very happy DD23 thought of checking on her Ipad. I guess it'll probably be crowded but we'll be in MK, so MVMCP here we come!!

We actually got our MNSSHP cards before 5 on 11/1. We took a break next to the fire station before our Mickey M&G FP+, which ended at 5, so I know it was before then. (They actually gave us last year's cards, too.) We did our wristband checkin in Adventureland shortly after 4, and the CM told us to make sure to stop and get our cards up front. She didn't say we had to wait until 7. And at 7 we were at the Monsters dance party...

Thanks I had read several places that we could pick up at 4pm, do you think we will have enough time to play if we pick up right at 4 until the party starts at 7?

Thanks for clarifying. Last year we had to wait until 7 for our MNSSHP card.

It really, really depends. We went to a MSNSSHP, and I wish we had planned and budgeted to go twice. It was the first party we'd been to, and even though I researched and planned ahead of time, we still got kind of overwhelmed with everything. We definitely would have gone again if we could have.

This time, I'm keeping a plan B in mind (and budget!), in case we do decide that we want to go to a second MVMCP. We likely won't decide until we're actually at the first one though.

Actually, the Official Thread began with Cheshire Figment's Party info on Page 2, but when the Mods moved the Official Thread to the Theme Parks board, they combined with some other Threads and Cheshire's Official opening post was bumped.

Not the OP's fault. I had asked that the Official Thread be moved to Theme Parks board and this is how it appeared...

That's my question too. I really wanted the Dessert Party, but the only day I could get in for it was the day of MVMCP. I plan to see the 2nd parade that night. It's only myself, but Christmas is my very favorite time of year, and I figure I'll be taking my time to enjoy every part of it.

If you go in at 4:00 you can get a lot of regular MK things done. Then, watch the Castle lighting and one of the first Celebrate The Season Castle shows. I've never seen the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show but you may be able to fit that in before the Dessert party. Then you have the second parade @ 10:30 and still time to do things before midnight.

Trying to fit in Characters and the Jingle Cruise may be difficult?

I am thinking that DD and I may attend a second party because we may miss a lot by watching both parades. But, if we came back for a second party, we again would watch both parades but fit in things we missed at the first party.
