Official 2013 MVMCP Information

Jungle Cruise is usually closed for the parties...with the holiday overlay, what are the chances that Jingle Cruise will be part of MVMCP? Seems like a no brainer to me, but then again, what do I know:confused3:confused3

This is from the Disney Parks blog regarding the Jingle Cruise and MVMCP:

Also new for this year, attendees can experience Jingle Cruise, the first-ever holiday transformation of the Jungle Cruise attraction, which will feature seasonal decor, new holiday jokes and more.

Well, I really screwed up this time. My wife and I are in town for just next Friday before going to Port Canaveral and were planning to go to MVMCP on November 8. I had the tickets in my account, thought they were confirmed but I put the wrong expiration date down on my card and I got an email yesterday saying those tickets had been removed from my cart because they were no longer available. Now I need to come up with a backup plan and an apology to my DW.

That is the party that I will be at :thumbsup2 I am thinking it will be very busy because of the early DHS closing, but that was the only party that fit into my schedule. In fact, I will be surprised if it doesn't sell out. DHS closes at 4 and AK closes at 6 that night, so I think a lot of people will end up going to the party. I also bet Epcot and Downtown Disney will be really crowded that night too!

I will be at that party as well. Hoping for an awesome evening.

The Osborne Lights debut at DHS on November 8th. The Hollywood Brown Derby now has a patio lounge where you can order off the full menu or their lounge menu and reservations are not required - walk-ups only. That might be a nice alternative.

We have delayed purchasing our party tickets until closer to our trip so we could get a better idea of weather. All along I've had my eye on Nov. 14, but w/ HS closing early I'm wondering if we should change it to the 15th or 17th? I don't think doing the 21st would be a good option since we leave the 22nd to come back home and it's a 9 hour drive.

Many believe Fridays are more crowded than Sundays. That was always true for the Halloween Parties. So, the 17th may be the best choice.

Michelle Obama will be speaking at a Conference at one of the Epcot resorts on the 14th. No one knows how that will affect traffic and Disney transportation.

I've read on the crowd websites that the 17th will be one of the busier Sundays for some reason. It was ranked as having higher crowds than even Friday. So we tried to work it out to go on Friday instead, but we couldn't make it work for our schedule. So, like many others on these boards, our family is going on the 17th. :dance3::dance3::dance3:

Do you know which epcot resort? We'll stay away from there! :) too many people

YIKES!!!! This does not make me happy. I wonder how much of a mess it is going to make our November 14TH arrival? :scared1:

Yes, that's what prompted my question. I realize the overlay will take place, I'm just wondering if it will be open during MVMCP. Anyone know?

That's a great question. Historically JC is one of the limited number of attractions that was not open during hard ticket parties.

That is what is quoted. Disney Blog states it is available for attendees of the party to ride Jingle Cruise!:)
