PURPLE SHIRTS!

She saw purple ones and also BLACK ones. I thought the black might be for the guys- but she said those were womens cut shirts. And there were not as many of them.

So thinking black might be the perfect princess shirts? Assuming they get a special one? That might not please Joan... but at least it's NOT WHITE!!!!

Oh I like black...better than purple! I would take either after the last two years of white. My 2008 Minnie Marathon (used to be in May, a 15K) is black with a matching black string bag, so cute.

Got my 8 miles in, but struggling with consistent pacing. This is only my second run outside since the full marathon in Jan. The TM keeps me in check.

The weather is changing daily...temps can be predicted better than precipitation this far out. Should rain be an issue be sure to bring a garbage bag or go to the dollar store and pick up a rain poncho.

I've read about balloon ladies but not sure if I get it completely. If they pass you, are you out? Sorry, but just when I am at peace about the bus of shame I now fear balloons.

IT FITS! OH GOOD LORD IT FITS!

Back on New Years Eve I was too heavy from my London trip to get it on. A month and a half later as I am trying it on to see if I can wear it for the Princess it goes on. It's a bit tight but it fits! I am officially running as Merida (even if the hair color isn't right).

Still going to pack my Ciderella dress as a back up. But plan A is a go!

ETA: This is only semi-complete. I'm not wearing my Merida tiara in this. Wish there was more official Merida themed jewelry to dawn for the race.

Very cute Merida costume! Glad it fits -- such a great feeling.

I saw a picture of both shirts--- LOVE LOVE LOVE! I sure how she was right that these are the race shirts and not the buy at expo shirts! But if they are for purchase- still love. But she sounded pretty sure they were THE shirts.

Royal purple and black were the 2 options. Really great shirts!

Ooohhhh....will love having purple shirt...may get a bigger size as I just looked at the size chart and figured I might need to get a medium instead of a small.

Needed this boost as last night the fraud alert folks from MasterCard called...any guess how that phone call went....needless-to-say they are overnighting a new card to me after talking with my credit union and letting them know I was leaving on vacation 21 Feb. we think there was a "skimmer device" used when hubby left the Houston Hobby airport parking. Having wine as we speak

Yay!! That looks so cute! I love the waist jewels. And congrats on the fit - what a great high to have right before the race

Still having some hip pain today after running my last long run on Tuesday so I decided not to run today. Hope that the rest won't be an issue with the race in less than 10 days!

And of course, in all my paranoia I ended up tripping up the stairs face first today at work with two bags and a hot coffee. I think I only have some bruises but thank goodness it wasn't worse. Serves me right for being so worried!!

You will probably have to wait to TRY and trade after the race. I have never had any luck at the expo...even when I said I order a medium and they gave me a large.

Hate, hate, hate when the card # gets snagged. So much work as so many of our bills are auto paid to our card.

I've only had to trade at Tinkerbell (ah the joys of registering through a charity who apparently can't read the t-shirt size correctly, last year I was put down as an extra small, this year a medium). I would think it would be odd that you wouldn't be able to trade at the expo. But than again I am an 'always on a Friday' expo attendee. I may change that if I do a night race with Disney but when I've gone on Fridays I've been able to trade shirts (no reason to lose park time when I am going to skip the parks next day). But than again that was at Disneyland.

I had a wonderful 3-miler yesterday. Trying to decide whether to chance a semi-long run tomorrow or go short again and let the knee continue to rest before the big day. I can't believe that a week from now we'll be at WDW! Yay!

Where did you see the size chart for the shirt. Is there a picture of it somewhere too ??

Sorry to hear about the credit card. MC is SO good about fraud alerts. It's a pain to wait for a new card but it beats the alternative.

Thank you! It is indeed a sparkle skirt, I love it! Was on the fence about getting it, but the purple pants I originally got ended up being very unflattering on my pooch-y gut, so I decided to go the skirt route. Hides everything much better!

PS - for the person who just posted the Belle & Ariel costumes, which Etsy seller is that, can you say on here? I absolutely love that running gear!
