They're super bouncy in the forefoot! I feel a HUGE difference between them and my Nike Frees in that respect, like the Frees sink me down, while the Flows propel me forward.

Yes! I noticed that. In fact I felt I had to adjust myself so I was upright since the flows seemed to be propelling me forward.. I still like the more sock like upper of the frees better.. But the flows were so comfy all around... And the normal aches were not there .. Granted it was a much smaller run.

Thanks for the advice...think I will keep the "date" as most of my allergies are food (seafood&berries) so Kona has the best menu choice. Secretly hoping maybe the Hawaii five O guys will make a special appearance !

Forgot to reply back to you from an earlier post...this is my first half marathon and after my last meeting with running coach I feel almost ready ! Still nervous but he assured me I am ready and ....enjoy the experience !

Me also thinks the weather at PHM is looking more and more like high 50's for race time....think as TX princesses and other southern princesses we will be well acclimated for race day...hallelujah...was worried about really cold weather !

That is great news, I have been worried that a cold front would move in, and even though I don't want it to be overly hot, a comfortable temp where we don't freeze pre-race would be preferable lol!

Yay! They are finally letting us nominate and vote on a song to be featured at the race...on runDisneys FB page!

YAY!!! I would love for it to be "Go the Distance"!! Such an awesome song!

One week from today, we leave for Orlando!! I'm so excited to run this race and have learned lots of great information from the princesses here, you've all been so helpful!

We are staying off site at Buena Vista Suites and plan to leave our hotel at 3:30 for Epcot. I hope to be able to start the walk to the corrals by 4:30. But, my question is this...my dh will be with me, not running the race but waiting for me to finish. I told him the he can take the monorail to the TTC to see me run past. Then, where can he go from there to see me? And will it be a nightmare trying to get from place to place?

Also, I'm really trying to avoid running with my phone in my pocket, I hate that. If I have him meet me after the race at the reunion tents, will I need my phone? Or could we meet rather easily there?

I had a giant green tutu for Tink and have a pink one for Princess. They aren't too bad to pack....I'm a dance mom so I'm used to hauling these things everywhere.

Grab it by the elastic and squish it down like a long tube. Make sure the fabric isn't folded anywhere or it will leave lines. It should be inside out too for maximum puffiness!

Finally have the last piece of my Izzy running costume...it's complete!

It's perfect! Love it.

Weather Channel predicts 83/63 for race day. Here we go ladies!!!!

I could go for about 10 degrees cooler than that, but I guess it could be worse, right?

Hey DIS'ers running princess- don't forge the runDisney meet up will be announced today via Twitter and the Disney Parks Blog. Here is a link describing the event from last year in case you were wondering what it is- Princess Meet Up

If anybody has done these before you'll know they're a great time with lots of Disney surprises! It does however require a lot of web-stalking of the parks blog and twitter. We won't make the race this year, but I'm happy to help somebody try and make the meet- if you won't be able to hover online for the next few hours, PM me your name (that's all you need to RSVP) and I'll try to get you in! We made it to the Tink meet and had a great time, just trying to share the magic!

It's killing me not to be trying to sign up for this... but I'll be there with my daughter (age 13) and I don't want to leave her in the room 2 mornings of our mother/daughter trip. We arrive Thursday night and she really wants to make rope drop at the Magic Kingdom on Friday. By Sunday, she'll be happy for a reason to sleep in. Maybe next year!

Your dh can see you at the TTC and then walk past past the Poly to the main road and he can see you come through there as well, then he should still have enough time to get to the finish to see you. My wife did that when I ran the half there in January. I was in Corral A and finished in 2 hours and she was able to see me. Your dh will just have to see if the lines at the TTC appear to be getting too long to get back to the finish before you arrive. She saw me somewhere a little before mile 8 and made it back OK, but she said there wasn't a long line at the TTC that early.

I don't know how I would have found my wife after the race if it wasn't for the phone. I told her to meet me along the fence where the runners were being sent and she passed me right up. It can be done, but you really need to be specific if possible as to where you are going to meet at.

I just heard some AWESOME NEWS about the Princess Shirts!

Well-- mostly awesome. I'm not sure if Joan will think it's as awesome...

Someone in my running group is local and saw the shirts printing today! i know the color I know the color(s)!!!!
