Oh boy, I have been waiting and waiting for this. Now I have butterflies in my stomach. Excited and scared. I need my sister to commit. I have NEVER been to Disney. I saw the Host Hotels, but have NO idea where to stay. This will be an adventure.

I think you are correct...In comparing this list to to the list for this past race, some of them have changed which makes me think this is the new list.

I don't see a DVC resort. Does anyone know if transportation from the DVC resorts will be available for the race?

I noticed the same thing, which I thought was strange--especially since there were 2 DVC resorts on the list last time. The only thing I can think of is that Animal Kingdom could be considered a DVC resort?!

Disappointing that GF isn't a host hotel, nor are ANY of the Epcot resorts.

Woo Hoo!! I'm registered! There's no turning back now. The hotel seem kind of expensive. I think the Florida discount gives a better rate.

Florida/AP rates will definitely be better, as will bounceback and pins.

My thoughts exactly!!!! Has anyone else stayed at SOG and walked over to the Poly to catch race transportation??? I booked a better rate there than the race rates.

It's not true that you can only get transport if you stay at the host resort. You can walk/drive to a host resort and use the transportation, even if you are not staying there.
