Thanks Julie for posting the info about how you are treating your PF. So, far I am onto the Ascics 2150 shoes also, was fitted with them and I do like them. We added the Sports Orthodics, Dr.Scholls not sure that has been the best choice yet. I have been using a golf ball to roll under my foot, doing stretching for both calf and stretching the affected foot several times a day,
I think that tight calves do have a lot to do with it.
I have been icing after each training session. (I have even iced it a few of the off days when it felt sore still).
Since, I last year the only shoes that are comfortable for me at work have been the Sketcher Shape ups, I had my right knee scoped and they really helped me afterwards. I have noticed that other shoes now if especially those with a flat bottom make my foot hurt. I think the rocker bottoms do help. I can't add an orthodic in them it makes them very uncomfortable.
I don't know why but crocs just haven't ever been comfortable to me, but I think it may be worth looking into the Dansko clogs and Birkenstocks.
I checked and my orthopedic Sports Medicine Dr. recommends NOT doing the activity such as walking/running for 10 months! Yikes, I am sorry but I do not look at that as an option. Too long, I will back off for a short time, but 10 months! I just got started and that would be a total block to me continuing.
I need to check out the othrodics you mentioned and see where I might find them. Again thanks, it is worth a try.
