George said "it hardly ever snows on christmas day in the UK, only in movies and stories." then he smirked as he thought of someone reading a story of what was going on right now.

"When I went to visit my grandmothers cousins in Kansas last year, it snowed but it was all slushy." Neville said. Professor Sprout began talking about the plants and assigned a 200 word essay over winter plants.

 

[Tora Millypoops]

"Also you only see snow in Christmas Decorations and Christmas cards. Christmas cards always have a snow scene on them." Cho carried on from Georges sentance. As the lesson started the whole class were still trying to keep themselves warm under their robes and house scarves. All of them were shivering.

"hey, do snowdrops count as winter plants" George asked Neville since it was the only plant he could think of.

 

[::Snow_White::]

"Oh. No I don't think so. But you can do it over the snowdran" [I couldn't think of anything else] Neville said. "I think the library has some books over it." He finished as he began to pull out some parchment and a quill. He began to write.

Cho started her essay, and because she was shivering her hand writing which was normally rather neet, was extremely messy. Writing the essay took up about three quarters of the lesson. Everyone started to finish their work. Hermione finished first as usual, then George, Neville then Cho.

"ok thanks" George said. He flicked through his Herbology book and found it. He read aloud "here it, Snowdran: a pale yellow and white flower normally found in the glaciers of New Zealand. (there are glaciers there right?) It's juice is used as an antidote for most snake bites. That's interesting."

Neville began to write his paper over the frozen frydan. It was a bright pink colored flower that is imported from antarctica. It's used to make repellant for poisonous pixies. Neville wrote on the parchment the most of the class until he finally finished it.

George's writing was unreadable thanks to the cold. He wished he could type it out but he's been told that's forbidden after asking Professer Mccgonagel (spelt it wron -_-) so luckily the homework was to finish the essay. Now he could write it up in the common room by the fire.

The bell went for their next lesson. Everyone still wrapped up warm from Herbology, walked out of the greenhouse. The scene infornt of them was glittering with snow, and groups of students, huddeling togeter to keep warm, going quickly to their next lesson. One group huddled together was Hermione, Ginny, Luna and Neville. The other group Was Harry, Cho, Lav and George. All of these groups were linking arms and extremely close together, trying to keep as warm as possible.

if i remember the person who plays Ginny (i forgot you name, sorry!) is now Ron.

The walked to the castle where the warm air instantly hit them, they unlinked and made their way to DADA.

When they were inside it was warm but the lot of them were still shivering. Ast they walked passed the Great Hall they saw Hagrid dragging a huge Christmas tree behind him. None of them had seen a Christmas tree that big in their life. Hagrids voice came from behind the tree. Hagrid said "Hello you guys". Cho replyed "Oh, sorry Hagrid we didn't see you there. Yeah everything is fine. We better be going to DADA now, we'll see you later." "Bye" sad Hagrid.

"I hope Professor Quirrel is o to take the lesson, we haven't had a proper DADA lesson in a while since he's been sick" George said to Cho after looking away from the christmas tree.

 

[Tora Millypoops]

"I don't particulaly want Professer Quirell taking the lesson." Cho replyed. "I would like to do some magic though. It is just there is something not right with him, I don't know what it is, but I just have that feeling. All the older students I have asked about him have just said that he is slightly wierd, but he is one of the nicest teacher here. Apparently." They waited outside the classroom to be invited in.

George nodded his head in agreement. They all got to the classroom and sat near the back huddled together for warmth, turns out the classrooms aren't heated either.

Once again the DADA class was notes. However at the end a large Iguanna escaped and the class was let out ten minuits early

lav walked up to the other gryffindors and asked "do wizards normally wear turbans?"

Everyone rushed to the Great Hall which was the warmest place in the school. They got there and the dinner was already out on the tables. The first years always sat in the same seats for their meals. It was Neville, Luna, Ron and Lav on one side of the table and on the other was George, Cho, Harry and Teddy on the other side. They always sat in that order. Sometimes they got wierd looks from the older students, for sitting in those places.
