"Riley" called Ted, and his owl came down to him. "I'm sending a letter to the elves so they'll bring us hot chockolate." Within five minuits the steaming drinks where there.

"mmmmm heiße Schokolade" said George drinking his hot chocolate.

"yeah, Danke. Ich wünsche daß ich einen stärkeren überbrücker trug!" said George. First he was confused at his friend's looks then he remembered. He pulled some device out of his ear and said " language converter. Got it from the Daily Prophet. Turns your speech into a different language. It has about 47 different languages on here. I got it since i'm going to Germany over the summer holidays but don't know any german. I was just trying it out"

"How much was it? I'll pay you pluss ten percent to get me one."

"oh, it was about 5 galleons" said George.

"Woah! That's so cool." Neville looked over to George's device. "Maybe my grandmother will get me one!" Neville said hopeful.

Soon it was getting dark so they all went inside for dinner. The Great Hall was less crowded then usual as most people had gone home for christmas.

Neville entered the Great Hall seeing some of the professors decorating the hall with christmas trees and lights. Neville's eyes lit up as he took a seat at a fairly empty table. "Lots of people seem to be gone for Christmas" Neville said to himself.

George ate some of the turkey laid out on the table and stared at how decorative the Hall was. He was mesmorised at how tall the tree was and looked up at the enchanted ceiling to see snow falling down.

"I can't wait until Christmas, this place is so magical" Said Cho, while she was trying to cut up her food with one hand.

As the group of the got to the common room, Cho said sarcastically(sp?) "Great I get the whole of the girls dormatory to myself, that's going to be really noisy".

"no, i thought i saw Hermione and Luna heading to the library before we went for the snowball fight" said George, trying to remember "Lavina too. Only a few of the girls left"

"Oh they're staying here over Christmas?" replyed Cho. "Hermione told me that they were all going to her house for Christmas."

"i think she said something to me about not going back because her parents would make a fuss over her wounds" said George entering the common room

just so you know ron was expelled and won't be able to come back i don't have enough tome to try to catch up
