Does anyone know what the dates "might" be for 2008? I know that the rumor is the code will be announced on April 10...but I'm wondering when the code will be good (i.e., August ? to October ?).

I'm not sure of the exact dates, but our bounceback dates are August 30-Sept 27, 2008

I bought 2 pirate children drinks and my dh had 2 drinks one was some blue novelty thing, with the tax added was indeed almost 200 dollar

ahh this is true.. it's easy to forget that those cute little drinks are costly... and jack up the bill.. and the tip!

You don't. You change your reservation to a package with free dining.

ETA: Once free dining is announced, you would call the regular CRO number or your travel agent.

need a answer please if anyone knows. made my ADR's yesterday. If I am able to get free dining when it comes out I don't have to remake all my ADR's right? I didn't think so but now I am doubting myself. I got the only Le Cellier ressies they had for the entire week and would not want to lose it.

Nope... Last year I booked my ADRs before free dining came out and it made no difference.

I called AAA today and asked the agent about free dining. She said she would call Disney and ask them about it (i think she is new). Anyway, she got confirmation that they WERE going to offer it, probably Aug 30 - Sept 27 and that it was probably going to be announced in April.

She said that Disney rep said it wasn't written in stone and they didn't have official word yet, but I sure am doin the happy dance.

I have a room reserved for Sept 22 - 29. I wonder how it will affect me if the offer ends on the 27th. What is everyones experience with this???

April seems so far away doesn't it.
