This group was pretty bad but I picked Matt but not Camile. She is pretty young and I wonder if she can hold up through the competition.
Noel seemed way too sure of his talent so it thrilled me when Jesus got so many more votes! Yeah for Jesus--

I always wonder how they divide the groups too. It must be random. Remember the group that Clay sang in last year? - it had so many good people, but there were other groups that didn't have much talent.

I think they should divide the groups better. Group 1 had so much more talent that Group 2. And last year...Clay had a lot of competition! I wonder how the choose the groups.

Also, I wish the girls would stop wearing high heels--Very few walk properly and they look goofy! My Simon like thought of the day

This years group 2 was nothing compared to last years. Last year had the top 3 all in group 2. I thought everyone that I've seen so far was ok, but no one compares to Clay yet! Hopefully I'll change my mind and find someone I like in group 3 or 4. And maybe they'll make me happy and bring back William Hung in the wildcard show.

I found Matt boring. I think that guy could pass for 35 years old. Just not "idol" material IMO. Camille had a nasal sound to me. Paula kept raving about her "tone", but to me she sounded like she had a stuffy nose. I thought Lisa was the best out of that group, although I really wasn't too impressed by her either

I hope tonight's group is better than last week's group. I got a feeling there's going to be a few good ones!

OK, well so far tonight, the first singer (Elizabeth) was EXCELLENT!

However, IMHO, she should NOT wear such short dresses, cause her knees and legs are AWFUL! It really detracted from her appearance.

Well, they saved the BEST for LAST!

LaToya London was PHENOMENAL!!!

Well, this group was much better than last week! I really liked Amy,

she has a really nice stage prescence.

DH and I knew the judges would like LaToya

but we both found her a bit on the strident side. Too "Celine Deion-ish" for us.

I couldn't believe that Simon said Charly

had such a good voice. To us, she sounded breathy and flat.

We really weren't blown away by any of the guys tonight. I think it will be an interesting vote tomorrow with LaToya winning and Amy or Charly coming seond.

I liked Amy and the second to the last girl. LaToya was awesome!! I would like to see Amy get it I think (and I do believe LaToya is a definate in)

My favorite tonight was definitely Amy, and I also loved LaToya. I think that Amy is more of a definite than LaToya, because she already had a lot of fans from her audition and performances in Hollywood. I don't remember ever really seeing or hearing LaToya before tonight.

I thought Jon Peter-Lewis (the pen salesman) was a huge disappointment tonight! I liked his audition and was looking forward to his performance, but I did not like it at all. I love "Tiny Dancer," and I hated his version of it.

Alrighty, here's how I voted tonight. Eric got a vote from me. Leah got a vote from me. LaToya got FIVE votes from me! I wasn't too impressed with Amy, Charly, Elizabeth, or Jon. (Although, I did enjoy all of their auditions; they kind of disappointed me a bit tonight.)

I thought this weeks group was so much better than last week, and it's too bad that some of them weren't in group 2. I thought Amy was really good and so was the last girl, the only problem was that her song had like 4 words in it. I also liked Charly's voice, I just didn't like the song she sang. And Eric was the best out of all the guys so far (because so far all the guys have sucked). I wasn't impressed by the Hawaiin guy, the girl in the black dress, and the pen salesman (although I did like him at auditions). It will be interesting to see who makes it because I think it will be between the girls and that would make 5 girls and only 1 guy in the top 12 so far.

I like this group way better then the second group. I also think that the same three that mrsv98 posted will make it to the top three for tomorrow nights show.

I didn't like any of the guys tonight. I think Latoya is definately in. I also liked Charly, Leah, and Amy, so I hope one of them also gets in.

I thought Elizabeth did well in her audition but I didn't think she was that great last night. The song she chose wasn't a good choice for her, at least I think so, and her dress was not flattering at all.

I was shocked when Simon told Charly she had a great voice, I didn't think so. I wasn't a huge fan of Amy but I think she did a good job even though I don't like her song choice of Celine Dion, I don't like her or her music .

I thought Latoya was good but I think a standing ovation was a little over the top. She was definitely one of the best of the night but not amazing.

The "pen salesman" was terrible. His voice sounded so different throughout the song and I thought the guy from Hawaii was just terrible too.

The girl from Bulgaria (or her parents are from there) was different. Not sure if I like her but Simon did.

I thought everyone was good but LaToya made me cry. I was literally shaking at the end of that show and was clapping like I was in the audience!!

I did like the Tiny Dancer guy, there was something about him.

I voted for him, the big Hawaiian guy but couldn't get in to vote for LaToya because like Fantasia two weeks ago, the phone was busy for two hours!!

Last night's show was SOOOOO much better than the week before. Too bad we can't boot the two chosen last week and add one from this week and one from week 1! There was no one last week that could stand up to the caliber of the performances of week 1 and 3! Jeez. . . .

Anyway, we liked the Pen Salesman (Jon), but admittedly his performance last night was unique. I am a major "Tiny Dancer", Elton John, fan--that version just didn't do it for me--no passion I guess. That said, I'd still like to see him in the final 12--then again, there are so many that are good in the leftovers!

We voted for Amy, Leah, and LaToya (although she really didn't warrant a standing O by Randy & Paula)--my daughter voted for Jon--she's just liked him from the beginning. I do not see Eric's resemblance to Clay except they are both tall, thin, caucasion guys! There is no uniqueness about Eric, but he has a nice voice.

I think it will be LaToya and Leah moving on--Amy is the third position. Guess we'll see tonight! It's going to be very interesting to see who the judges' picks will be AND who gets voted on by John Q. Public!

Everyone last night was good, IMHO. The least of them would beat the best from last week. So unfair; somebody really messed up with balancing out the groups. What did they do, draw straws?
Anyway, I voted twice for LaToya (the best IMHO), once for Amy, once for Leah and once for Eric (though he should have chosen a better song, I thought he was very good). I disagree w/ Simon that he has no personality, I think he is just soooo similar to Clay that people inevitably compare the two.
As far as the Pen Salesman goes, I liked him coming in to last night. I thought he did well and has a unique voice, BUT, it bugged the *&#*# out of me the way he sang "Bluejean babUH, L.A. ladUH"! I love Elton John and that song, and it bugged me so much it just ruined his whole performance for me.

The last contestant...LaToya (I think that is her name)...OH MY GOSH...she moved me!! After she sang her song...I was clapping and wanted to give her a standing ovation (sp?)...but I see Randy and Paula was already standing up.

Besides Fantasia (my favorite)...LaToya (#8) was the best I have ever seen and heard!

The Hawaiian guy...I was hoping he would do well...well he did so-so. He is not going to make to the top 2 tonite.

Definitely last nite was much better than last week's show. They were more competitive last nite than last week. Most of the singers last nite were good if not great...OR Excellent for LaToya.

MY new favorite so far...LaToya and Fantasia. I kind of like Matthews too from last week. I think he's kind of cool!
