I agree - tonight was just AWFUL. If I had to choose, it would be Matt and Lisa - I never thought those brothers should have made it through in the first place, and tonight just reconfirmed it.

I was watching Ryan Seacrest's other show yesterday, and Clay actually commented about this group, saying that he'd be surprised to see many of them make it past this stage. (of course two will go on to the next level, but past that...) But how did he know how bad they were going to be YESTERDAY? Things that make you go hmmmmm...

I was so disappointed tonight! I'm not sure if I've been spoiled by Clay and all the amazing talent from season 2 or not, but tonight was horrible! I've never heard so much off-key singing in one sitting! I voted for Lisa a bunch of times and Camille and Marissa a few times also because I felt they were the only decent singers tonight. I miss my Clay

Dreadful. . .absolutely dreadful!

Lisa made it slightly less of a train wreck--not much though! Camille was "okay", "nothing great, but not terrible". Marisa sounded good--just have to get over that stance.

I also really liked Bri and Matt and was hoping they'd do better, but they just crashed and burned. He wasn't bad--neither was she, but an "Idol", not withthose performances. I knew I didn't like Norah Jones for a reason and if that song is an indication of her style--I know why! Who in the world counseled this group as to song selection and performance! Whew. . .would not want to be in that woman's shoes. . .

There were at least a couple of others from round 1 that I would vote for to avoid this group! Major yuck!

OMG Last Nights AI was PATHETIC! I feel so sorry for all of the really great performers that didn't get to go on in the first round. I narrowed down the big choice to my favorite two. Although I have to admit that NONE of them gave me the WOW factor that I was hoping for.

Kara would be one of my choices

and Camile is my second choice.

I'm not sure how some of the players of this round made it here? The Roman Brothers were just 'dreadful'. Briana has an 'okay' voice but she just doesn't put any flair into her performance at all. Her bad performing just makes the singing seem worse to me. Mathew Rogers is 'okay' but he sounds like a football player that would like to sing. Marissa and Lisa will both probably be in the top three tonite [according to what the judges were saying] but neither one of them made too much of an impression on me.

Yes, last night was terrible!!!!!!!!!!! The brothers were absolutely painful to listen to! I had high hopes for Matt and Bri, but Bri was dull and Matt has an attitude I don't care for. At least the brothers admitted they were bad. Lisa was the only one with a great voice last night, but even she isn't up to snuff. Camile was OK, but only OK. Everyone else was yuck!!!

I guess I'm in the minority, but I didn't like Camile at all. I thought Lisa was the best, and Matthew and Kara were just ok.

When I think of all the talent that got let go last week, it makes me sad. They should have distributed the talent more evenly between these 2 groups.

I can't stand Matt. First off, in his little snippet he said football is over with - THEN WHY DOES HE KEEP BRINGING UP THAT STUPID ROSEBOWL CRAP!! His attituted has been horrible since the beginning. Unable to take any sort of criticism at all, making stupid comments, trying to be funny when he's really not. He makes my skin crawl. Reminds me of a high school jock who thinks he's all that. NOT!!

our house didn't vote. we couldn't really agree on anyone worth the vote!

i think it will come down to lisa, camille, and marisa...camile's performance last night didn't do much for me, but i like the sound of her voice...i was really hoping for more when it came to matt and bri. but his ego is driving me crazy...

i guess that clay's been hanging around backstage during this AI stuff. that's how he knew about last night's group...at least, that's what i heard anyway...

here's hoping that next week is better!!!

OMG(osh)! Unbelievable. For the first time when Simon started with his "that was the worst...", he was right! At least 5 times! I think Matt, Lisa and Camille will be the top three, with the two girls moving on. They were the best, IMHO. Not that that is saying a whole lot.
I caught Oprah's Pop Star Challenge on Mon., and let me tell you the three top finalists were all better than anyone in this group. In fact, the woman who got the most votes (a 36 year old mother of 5) is probably better than any contestant we have heard so far!
It is really a shame that the first group had so much talent, and yet only two got to move on. My prediction so far for the Wildcard group: Scooter Girl, "I'm Young, I'm Young", Mr. Arrogance, and the remaining 6 contestants from the first group!

I just finished watching the show (recorded from last night). It was awful. I didn't like anyone from the group. Football guy was ok and the twins were terrible (never liked them anyways). I thought Cara, Bri and Camille were awful and I couldn't stand the last girl, I don't remember her name. I couldn't stand the way she was squatting/crouching and I was happy that Randy brought that up. I can't even guess who will be voted thru tonight and I'm pretty confident none of these guys will be a wild card choice.

my sister called me and warned me about this episode because I had to tape it. She went as far as to say she can't bring herself to even watch the show tonight...and we're pathetically addicted. I thought "hmm... it can't be THAT bad. I'm sure she's overreacting." I WAS SO WRONG!!!! Randy was right, I felt like it was auditions again, only more painful! I enjoyed "She Bangs" better than anything last night. Here's hoping for a great group 3 to revive AI!!!

Wow, what a fiasco! I was so disappointed in Brianna. She can sing much better than that. I think that the person helping them pick out a song should be shot. Didn't they watch last weeks show? I believe Ryan Seacrest even asked one of them that question. You could tell that even he was disappointed. They need a song that will move the crowd, not put them to sleep!

If I had voted, it would have been for Lisa. At least she did a halfway good job.

Did the judges predict who they think will be in the top two last night or do they do that tonight? I know that they hit it right on last week but don't remember which night they did it.

The judges will say who they feel will be in the top two tonight. I think they actually watch them singing again to make a more informed judgement.
