I'd like to see Amy go next. She has a *sweet* voice, but it is not strong at all. Also, I notice a lot of people say they like John Stevens because he is "different", but does anyone like him because he has a good voice? I sure do! Did anyone notice Jennifers facial expressions while she was standing with the bottom 3 and later when she was the bottom 2? That made me not like her

damo...I agree with you. I wake up everyday thinking...oh darn its not a Tuesday or at least a Wednesday. I could watch this show 7 days a week

I've been told by people that go to school with John S. that he has an awesome voice and can really sing. I think he has been picking what he considers to be "safe" songs.

I hope the girls don't all do Faith Hill songs..there are some awesome country singers out there (female) I can see Amy picking "Crazy" by Patsy Cline.

Matt is alot like Josh from last year, but I like Matt better...I like watching him, maybe cause he reminds me of my nephew.

When did they announce that the theme for next week is Country? I like having themes better than just singing a certain artists hits each week.

It was fun watching him last night. I didn't realize that he was so much taller than everyone. I thought that George was taller than him.

i really enjoy WATCHING jpl, but would i buy his cd???

I was thinking the same thing the other night. At the moment, I would probably buy a CD of George or Jasmine. I really like George's voice, much more than Rueben's actually. None of the others, as of yet, have interested me enough to think I would want a CD of theirs.

I don't think it's Paula's hair, I think it was part of her top. It was black and Paula's hair is not black. But yes, I am wondering also why is Simon keeps playing with Paula's string.

My son wondered the same thing. I think that he just does things to bug Paula, like a brother would.

Another not surprised for Leah leaving. I also agree that she was too emotional.. I think she was not yet ready for such a big step,though she did seem different during the first auditons.

I like Diana, John S ,JPL and LaToya. I can see John S doing a John Denver song. But yes, I hope he is in the competition for awhile because I want to see him grow. That's what makes this show so exciting. Its neat to see how they grow as the year goes on. Clay was great but since last year he is UNBELIEVABLE!!

Simon did seem bored last night. What's up with that ? The cameras can't wait to catch him and Paula in some cozy moment too. Maybe trying to create a controversy?HMM??

<font face="times" size="+0">i haven't read through this whole thread yet, but just wanted to say hi , and that i'm rooting for Jasmine + John S (for now).... and also that i agree Leah deserved to go last week... in fact i don't understand how she even got into the top 12 to begin with... i really felt she was flat every single time she sang.

not sure how long i'll be following this show though... the voting system really gets screwed up as less finalists are left. i don't know if anyone else has read Realitynewsonline + Foxesonidol's articles about how iffy the voting system is?</font>

She is just fabulous. She hasn't had a bad performance yet. The judges agree -- even Simon!

I have predicted all along that she will be the next

I thought LaToya, Amy and Diana were awesome tonight! Especially LaToya; my mom is predicting that she'll win the whole thing. I also liked the fact that all 3 of them sang actual country songs...some of the others, like Jennifer Hudson, seemed to be avoiding the theme completely.

John Stevens is still my favorite...I really think that as he gets more comfortable on stage, he's going to be amazing. Also, I think he's the only one whose cd I would actually buy.

Heres my two cents tonight. Diana, LaToya and Amy were great. I was sooooooooooooo impressed with Amy, I liked her, but tonight she was awesome. I knew Diana and LaToya were already. I still love George, and even though I have not been a fan, I thought John Stevens was great!

Camille, Matt and Jennifer are my picks for the bottom 3, but Matt will probably not be. Jasmine was pretty off tonight, but I think she'll be OK. Oh yeah, JPL was also awful, so he may hit the bottom 3 as well.

I could not agree more with what you said. I think LaToya was the best tonight and I can see her going a very long way!

I dont really care for Matt but I think he was the best of the guys tonight, even when smiling. I like JPL too but thought Matt was better.

Camille definately needs to go!

What a long 2 hours. Latoya, Amy, and Diane were the best tonight. Most of the group did nothing for me. Plus some of them sure have attitudes. Camille was the worst and should go next.

My bottom three would be Camile, Matt and JPL tonight. I was so impressed with Amy! I also liked Diana, LaToya, thought John Stevens was amazing. George, Fantasia, Jasmine and Jennifer were okay.

I'm not a country music fan, but isn't Naomi Judd considered country? (That's who sang Jennifer's song)

I thought George did great, as well as LaToya and Amy. I missed Diana's perfomance. John Stevens did well. I actually like Fantasia's performance tonight (for the first time), but even though she's a North Carolinian (where I grew up), I just can't warm up to her. She's just TOOO much for me.

Up until now, I kept thinking that there was nooneon AI who would entice me to buy their CD (Clay is the ONLY one who has ever done that, lol), but after listening to George, I think I might actually buy his. I agree with Paula, I think his voice is a little sexy.

Top 2 for me were definitely LaToya & Amy.

I thought Matt was terrible, Jasmine was very off & Fantasia's attitude was again out of control.

I really didn't care for Diana tonight, she didn't connect with the song, just belted it out again but she's so young, she'll gain what she needs with more experience. Right now it just seems like she's acting, it just doesn't feel real to me.

At first I thought Camille would go but when they played them all back I didn't think she was the weakest. I think it's Matt's turn, although once again I'd love to see Fantasia go.

Great to see Josh, I've heard his single on the radio 3 times already and it's really very good!

Amy rocked tonight - that really surprised me that she did country THAT well!

LaToya was awesome tonight too.

John S. covered his goof really well - it actually seemed to fit the song. And it was the perfect country song for him. I'd really love to see him just let loose.

I like Diana's performance too.

Jasmine was disappointing. She's been my favorite so far, so I really hope she doesn't end up in the bottom 3 despite her bad week.

I really think Camille needs to go. She really isn't that good. I'd probably put Jennifer and JPL with her in the bottom 3 this week, with Camille getting voted out. I usually like JPL, but he was really off this time. Matt actually had a good week, but he won't make it far in this competition.

Amy was FABULOUS tonight!!! Just called in 15 votes for her She's still my favorite. OMG...I love that song...and she was GREAT....her vocals are as good if not better than Natalie Maines(lead singer of the Dixie Chicks).
Yes..Wynonna Judd does sing country music...so Jennifer didn't go out of the genre...but I wasn't blown over with her performance.
LaToya stepped up 5 notches in my favorites category....she rocked tonight too!!
Diana didn't thrill me either...neither did Jasmine....give them time...I really think their age is the key factor...they aren't ready for this.
Didn't JPL at all tonight. Matt....ehh..he's okay. Still can't find anything bad to say about George...he's too cute.
Okay...I really should be getting some sleep...but I'm still hyper after watching Amy perform........oh...I'm gonna have to find the Josh Graycin(sp?) single too...hope it's good
