That overtime game the other night was intense! I had to wake up at 5am that morning to take a state certification exam. I wanted to keep watching but I had to sleep. I woke up around 2:30 and the game was over so I had to get online to see who won...it was sad to see that the Stars were not the winning team

Today's game starts at 2 though so there should be no staying up at all hours of the night waiting to see who wins.

Well, I for one, am thrilled about the results of last nights Canucks/Wild game. What an exciting game! When Matt Cooke scored the game tying goal with 1.2 seconds left in the game, I was just so elated. This team is just so hard working and resiliant.

Anyone who calls this a one line team notice who had the big goals last night? Matt Cooke and Trent Klatt. This team just plays with so much passion, and they work so hard.

I am just shocked by the Might Ducks of Anaheim. Who would have thought that after sweeping Detriot in round one, they would take two games in Dallas? I just can't believe it. Wow.

I'm where I'm sure the Detroit fans were after their 2nd game:

Game 2: Well, we're down 2, time to get to work.

Yes it does suck. I sure hope we don't let them get away with a clean sweep. Maybe we'll win the next game. I sure hope so because if we want to even have a chance of winning this series we need to win the next game. I just can't believe we were so close to winning today and they scored at like the very last minute to send us into overtime

I was traveling all weekend and didn't catch much of the games. So, two teams are up 2-0 and two series are tied at 1-1.

Ducks-Stars: Can you believe it? The Ducks have won all their games by one goal. But, they've done that all year. The only team to win more one goal games this year (regular season and playoffs) is the Devils. Hmmm....

Wild-Canucks: Does Minnesota have a goaltending controversy? Nah, Lemaire just plays who ever wins. Canucks should be worried. They have been behind most of the time in this series. Not a good sign going back to Minnesota for 2 games.

Flyers-Senators: Well, the Sens looked like they would just walk through the Flyers after the 1st period of Game1 (I was able to catch this game). The Flyers came back to win game 2 via shutout. And, from what I read, Roman stole this one so Flyer fans don't get too confident yet.

Lightning-Devils: The Lightning had the Devils in Game 2 but let it slip by them. Game 3 is a must now but they've proven they can play against the Devils. They just need to win this game to get them back on track.

Won't miss tonights matchups. Got my popcorn and soda ready!

Well, my beloved 'Nucks couldn't pull out a W last night. But I'm not worried about it. This team is just so resiliant. They can be behind in a game, or in a series, and come up on top more times then not. I saw them play in Boston, and they were up by a couple of goals, saw the Bruins tie, and then went on to win the game. That's just the way this team play. It makes for some pretty exciting hockey.

AWWWW C'mon Scott. Us Flyer fans HAVE to be confident. Hey, we made it past the 1st round and managed to steal one from the Sens at home. You are correct that Roman stood on his head during last nights game. Hot goaltenders are what a champion is made of. I wish you would have seen the game because being a hockey fan, you would have also seen some very suspect officiating in that game as well. Most going against the Flyers. So, please do not interperate my comments as cocky, but I am CONFIDENT!

Jeff I feel your pain. I watched in disbelief as the Ducks, and this is still hard to say, swept the Red Wings. I have to give them credit. First us and now you. They seem to have the Hockey gods on their side right now. After they swept us I was half expecting Dallas to kick their butt. Oh well, go get em Stars

What was really disturbing was that Dallas played a nearly flawless game in game 2 & they still lost. With Guerin back hopefully the Stars will win.

Well, tonight STARTED good...I hope it'll continue to be good for the Stars even though we're already tied after just one period. I have a feeling we'll probably be seeing another OT tonight...I say we but I don't think I'll be staying up to watch it tonight. I was up until 2am Thursday watching the FIVE OT PERIODS! Hey, could all the non Ducks fans send some pixie dust over to the Stars tonight? We really need it badly. But on the positive side, it's still not necissarily over if we lose tonight...we can win four games in a row But it's okay since we ARE winning tonight's game.

They don't call him Chokemanek for nothin.
Some very poor play cost the Devils tonight. But I still don't think the Bolts can win the series. I just hope Philly/Ottawa goes 7 games.
Do the players get charged the $1000 for a dive in the playoffs? DiMaio just got called for one.
