Offiants??

Hi All,

Not sure who may or may not be able to help me but I am from the uk and have booked our wedding directly with a travel agent. Our package says it includes the cost of the offiant but my wedding coordinator has asked me to contact an offiant directly?

Can anyone confirm if we need to pay for his/ her services separatly or if this is going to be covered in the cost of our wedding package?

are you going thru a UK company (like Virgin) for the wedding package?

I now that Virgin's package DOES include an officiant (they use Rev Jackson or Johnson I think) so you don't need to do anything.

If you are going with Disney only (ie NOT thru' Virgin package etc) then I think you need to arrange your own officiant at your own cost. Disney should supply you with a list of officiants to contact for details and prices.

I would have thought if it said it was included in the cost then they should pay for the officiant. I know Disney changed the rule at the beginning of the year to no longer include the officiant in their wedding packages, but if you booked with Virgin for example and it says it is included then they should honor that. I would double check with your travel agent.
Otherwise the cost will be $150.
We used Rev Jack Day. He was lovely.
