After the parade we headed to Tomorrowland. Savannah was itching to ride some rides, but the boys were wearing out. Uh-oh.
I thought this looked like a lot of people, but yet still, there were no waits!
Savannah wanted to just go and go this whole trip. She pushed herself to exhaustion and still wanted to go more, but the boys were usually done by mid-day.
Next time we MUST stay onsite so they can take a bus, monorail, or ferry back to the resort. I had no problem with them wanting to stop mid-day except that it was difficult to go all the way back to the house and then back to the parks, park, etc.
Savannah got some more magic handed to her by a CM:
We went on the People Mover b/c I thought it would give them a chance to just sit and relax and maybe they would do 1 or 2 more things before we left, but it really just made them more tired. Dylan refused to do 1 more ride (Buzz Lightyear) and Rey wanted to take them home and come back and got aggravated with me when I said there wasn't time b/c of our dinner reservations.
In the end, we went on Buzz Lightyear (it was walk-on, I actually had gotten FPs and gave them away to a family while walking out of the parks that day!) and Dylan sat and waited for us. Then we made our way out of the park, it was around 2 or 2:30, I think. Savannah & Dallas got some ice cream and I obsessed over balloons.
I was surprised by:
~Crowds. There were way more people in the parks than there were last September, but the lines were shorter! Score!
~Rey's reaction. Before the trip, he had talked about how this wasn't really his kind of vacation (even though for years he's talked about how sitting around doing nothing on vacation just stresses him out) and that he would probably want to leave the parks after a while. Well, this is NOT how he reacted to WDW! He said that he thought the crowds would be bigger and that he didn't want to go sit in a house when we would be at the parks! My evil plan was working. Bwhahahahaaa! I think it took until early on the 3rd day for him to start talking about "WHEN we come back"
Not surprised by:
~going slow, I knew it would be this way and tried to prepare myself. I did pretty well and enjoyed it for the most part!
~boys getting tired. I tried to get them walking for months before the trip, I warned and warned, but they had to learn on their own. Dallas did better than Dylan, partially b/c he loved the rides and wanted to keep going, but also b/c he walked with me before the trip and Dylan did not.
