1) Yes, this is off-topic.
2) But, we have several Dis-Campers who follow the Bowl Games.
3) For at least two of them, I think they applauded how the "Tide Rolled".
4) Being anti-Michigan, I cheer with bama_ed and tiggerdad.
5) Now, If Ohio State can take Notre Dame, it will make my New Year Bowl Game viewing complete.

Scupper,

Don't forget SouthAlabama5er too. I bet the three of us can scoot over and make room for your seat here on the bandwagon. In fact, we got plenty of room for anybody else too.

Clemson's QB is the type that has historically given Bama's defense fits - mobile runner who can throw well in addition. It was a pleasure to watch them beat Oklahoma yesterday.

Bama Ed

PS - and with Dabo being a Bama player from my era, there will be plenty of Bama lore discussed in the buildup to the championship game.

PPS - Rusty I am struggling, though, to come up with a scenario for the Fiesta bowl where Ohio State and Notre Dame can both lose...

Yeah, don't forget about me. It hard to miss me, I'm the big ol fella right there in the middle....

But yeah there is plenty of room here on the Alabama bandwagon, best thing is that you don't have to be from Alabama to be a fan, just at look at Tiggerdad's face there in the red shirt, the ol' Mississippi boy is just happy to be there!

Bama Ed, I am also struggling with that double loss scenario.

Go Blue !!!!!

I am a Wildcat fan through and through and my blood does run "BLUE"........ but how can you not be a fan of a program that has consistently proven itself to be a winner year after year and has done it the "right" way through great coaching (Don't forget that the Bear did coach the Wildcats to what the computer rankings now call a national championship in 1950 when they defeated previously undefeated Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. The final rankings were done prior to the bowls games that year) , great players and great fan support. ROLL TIDE and GO SEC!!!!

Yeah, last night was delightfully boring tv. Here is #2 the Heisman showing how to stiff-arm:

I will be pulling for the SEC teams in the remaining bowl games.

Live in Mississippi, but originally from Tuscaloosa county. Yeah, got to relive some old times last night as me and my dad listened to the Tide on the radio. I just prefer listening to Eli Gold and hearing him get excited whrn big things happen. We had deer to clean so we missed the first half on TV and just decided to finish listening to the radio for the second half. Eli's comment on the stiffarm that BamaEd posted above was hilarious.

Now today, my wife is the Ole Miss fan so we'll be watching the Sugar Bowl tonight.

Not an Ohio State fan but absolutely despise Notre Dame. Everybody knows Rudy was actually offsides.

My DD is an Iowa girl and my father was a Stanford man. Rose Bowl has me torn!

Dang, Stanford ahead 38-16 with only 1:30 left in the game and thows a deep ball from the 40 for a touchdown?

I'll agree that the Oregon TCU game was number one but the Podunk bowls being in the top ten? What ever. Vern Lundquist must have helped out with this list.

My husband got to go to the game. Here is a pic of him at the hotel before. Let me tell you how awesome breakfast in the hotel was next to the Michigan fans!

Love it, MotherRunner!

On the bowl game thread here, I wanted to let ya'll know that I have made a January 2017 Fort reservation for Marathon weekend coming in Jan 4 (Wednesday). I am planning to run the full Marathon which is on Sunday Jan 8.

Why would I post about Marathon plans in a bowl game thread, you might ask?

Anybody want to guess what's taking place on the night of Monday Jan 9, 2017 only 75 miles away from the Fort at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa?

Just in case, I showed my Fort departure date as Tuesday Jan 10.

It's a Crimson World and we're just living in it. #16 was sweet - Clemson played a great game.

Well, I'm too hoarse to call anybody (sorry Ed and Randy). So I'll type instead.

4th quarter was the best quarter of football I've seen in a long time. Both teams. Great game, especially since Bama picked up #16 and thankfully I didn't have to listen to that CBS bunch or Brett Musburger to watch it.

Roll Damn Tide!
