Did someone say French Toast Loaf?
The 1st part of this segment will be a BOGO! You’re alerted…carry on!
And YES, DH will make an appearance with his hairstyle…
While DH got his hair cut and done up, I brought the kiddos to the Main Street Bakery to grab some much heard about food. Pushing the double wide, I made it through the line to a 9 month 29 day pregnant CM, who was not too excited to be there.
Don’t blame her either!
Not knowing how the dining plan worked her, I politely inquired. I was giddy to find out that you can get 1 hot item, 1 bakery item & a bevy for only 1 CS credit! That is a bargain my friends! So I ordered 2 counter service credits worth of food, for all of us to share…plenty…our tummy were very full!
My order consisted of:
1 French Toast Loaf
1 Croissant Sandwich with egg & cheese
1 Cinnamon Roll
1 Krispie Kreme donut
Choco Milk
OJ FANTA
OOP: Yogurt & banana
Food Rating: B+
Dining Plan Value Rating: A
Service: B+, I do not blame the prego CM for not being ‘All so Disney happy’…I wouldn’t either...at her point!
The KK Donut, was just that...a yummy KK donut! The Cinnamon roll had good flavor, but nothing that I would say I must go there for. The FT Loaf was great! It was a slice of warm, rich, buttery sweetness. The inside was nice and soft, while the outside had a nice crispy, buttery-ness…yummo! They gave us a little syrup packet, which was plenty of sweetness, for this already sweetened delight.
We found ourselves a table at the end of the block, in front of The Plaza Restaurant. Dh met us down there and we were all shocked that he got the special treatment done to his hair! We took our sweet time eating, enjoying the morning; while we watched the happy people walk by.
And the much anticipated Picture of MY DH & His hair...
He is feeding Tink...so she doesn't mess her cute self up. She loves it!
While we were sitting, the family who were in line at the Barber Shop, behind us came and sat down. Their DS had decided to get the special ‘do’ to his hair too. Lil’l Diz was really excited and thought that the boy got it because of how cool his hair was.
DH let Tink down to stretch her legs. You know what that meant…
RUN, RUN as fast as she could! Squeaking all the way, as she ran.
I chased her this time…all the way over to the little walkway/path by the water (close to the noodle place). Along the way she lost one of her squeaky shoes. So, she only half squeaked as she ran. After luring her back, she and Lil’l Diz found the ducks. Tink thought it was funny to yell at them and call them names… So everyone heard a little girl dressed in pink yelling,
“UCKER, UCKER, UCKER MOMMEE!”
Pointing…Jumping up and down (with only one squeak on impact)…
“Ucker…UCKER…UCKER…”
The ducks were not scared…not one bit. They, I’m sure are used to worse.
After we scooped Tink up and harnessed her into the double wide, a duck came up to bid her a farewell. We told the kids that the ducky wanted to say good-bye and tell them to have a magical day.
But in all reality, with the tone of it’s quack…it was most likely telling us to take a hike and get that squeaky, yelling, pointing thing out of there, before he and his 30 buddies came over and pooped on us…
We headed over to fantasyland for a few fun filled rides. By this time in the AM, lines were getting long. We did get to ride Pooh, Petah & It’s a Small World. (trend…yes! Our fav’s!)
At this point it was getting a bit steamy. So we decided to head back to our Resort for naptime. We wanted a snack. So we took the long way out, walking through Liberty Square & Adventureland.
Yep, a Dole Whip Float was in our futures! We had them completely demolished by the time we were at the gate! On our way out we were greeted with:
Lil’l Diz Man spotted some Pixie Dust and stopped to collect. We couldn’t let Tink miss the fun, so we let her out of the double wide, so she too could collect.
After we let our kids clean up the remains of that mornings opening ceremony, we hopped a bus back.
When we entered the lobby of the BWV’s, we were greeted with a wedding party, happily awaiting the Bride for pictures. We smiled, ‘Awed’ and Tink yelled ‘Prittee’ to them all. Up the elevator we went, this time no one but us was in it to get ‘kicked’ by Tink as she again kept her feet all the way to the side of the stroller. When the doors opened, Tink yelled before we could even look up…
PRITTEEE!
WOOO!
PRITTEEE!
The bride and one of her attendants, where having a bit of a ‘pep talk’ in the lobby area of the 4th floor. We congratulated her and wished her well; she in return gave Tink & Lil’l Diz an ooooh & ‘great hair’ comment. Lil’l Diz Man ran ahead to find our room. He knew where it was based on the LG Mickey Heads about our room number. I stayed back and napped Tink, while the guys headed to the pool area.
While DH worked on his laptop, Lil’l Diz played at the play area & then in the water with his feet, but couldn’t go in due to his hairdo. Not great planning, I know…this was the last really nice & warm day, so we never made it back down to the pool…
Before long, both guys were hot and decided to find another location to sit, with access to the Internet.
They ended up in the lobby.
Lil’l Diz sat and people watched, while DH worked. (Yes, lil’l Diz is a patient little boy). A few minutes after they arrived the wedding party came back for more snap shots. Lil’l Diz got a huge kick out of watching them. After a few minutes the wedding party came over and asked my guys to move. So they gave up hanging out and headed up to our room, to get ready for dinner.
