Off to Neverland...A BOGO Trip Report! PG 44 ~ It's over

Thanks for the BOGO--now I know what to order when I'm at Le Cellier!

You were pumping out the pages yesterday...go girl! I was however a bit worried that I caused a commotion, with my SOG comments... I just don't want my friend to stay anywhere below par...since they have had such a tough year! A few of those comments left me....

:cool1: YOU GO GIRL! PUMP EM OUT!:cool1:

Hi there!!

I just saw this!

I thought your comments on SOG were right on!

We're staying at Coronado Springs Resort in September!

No more Shades of Green for the Gluttons!!!

and I am loving your trippie!!!

I'm here, I'm here! I am so far behind on everyone elses TR's, that I got stuck reading and not writing! Okay, so I told DH that my goal and only goal today is that he keep our kiddos out of the office while I type my heart out! I will do my very best NOT to read anyones elses, until I get mine out...ohhh it is so hard! (I'm really needing a fix of DLM, V and everyone else..who have now gone on trips...I think Tbell is back.)

Thanks everyone for leaving me a message...you helped get the fire back under my tush...

Short. That will describe this evening.

Le Cellier was very good. I do recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fine piece of red meat now and then. :)

When the check came, my DH panicked a bit…but just a bit. The way the CM charged us seemed off. Being that we were on the dining plan, the receipt didn’t show any deduction of TS credits. :confused3 Only a large Dollar amount appeared. We waited awhile for our server to come back and when he did he assured us that he correctly billed/deducted the Table Service Credit. It really did all seem a bit fishy, so I told my DH that I would go to the concierge and have them print out all of our room charge expenses and dining plan charges to verify that the server was not mistaken. Make a mental note, because there will be more on this later.

When we left Le Cellier, we were quick to notice that the sky was darker than it should be. Until this point of our trip we had had no rain. I was beginning to feel that this was pure luck and that luck would soon run out. Tonight was the first evening of the Pirate & Princess Party. As you can see, we were not in attendance. Being that rain was in the forecast for the evening, I was not willing to gamble a perfectly fun event with the thought of my DH or I running through the chilly January rain, pushing our kiddos in the doublewide. Didn’t sound fun to me…not in the least!

We asked Lil’l Diz Man what he would like to do for the remainder of the evening. Without a second to spare, he announced TEST TRACK & MISSION SPACE! We headed to TT and saw the stand by line to be 30 minutes, so we decide to head over to MS to see if the wait was shorter. This would turn out to not be a wise choice… Sure enough, Mission Space had a mere 5-minute wait. We decided to send Lil’l Diz with me 1st while DH & Tink hung out. I had never been on this ride and was a bit nervous. The last times we were at WDW it did not have a green side and there was no way I was going on it full force!

After Mission Command checking my DS not once, not twice, but 3 times for height, we were off! I’m all for proper safety, but 3 height checks seems a bit of an over kill…just a thought.

We basically walked right on, not a single rider in front of us. We were escorted to the debriefing video, Lil’l Diz looked up at me and told me, “MOM this is gonna be so much fun!” And he did his little excited foot move dance. I had to squeeze his little hand, just because. Just because that is what I do, I squeeze my babies when I have that ‘mom- warm all over’ feeling of love for them. So it happens many, many times a day. At Disney, it just may happen a few more times than at home. :cutie: :cloud9:

I was pleasantly surprised just how fun this ride was. Lil’l Diz has a big fondness for science and outer space. We read many books about different planets and their make up. So it didn’t surprise me that he would really enjoy it, but it did surprise me that I really did.

After we landed on Mars, I was ready to go! Go explore the planet that is. I wanted it to continue. Lil’l Diz announced that he was really lucky because he gets to go again, with Daddy. All I could tell him was, “No fair!” I really meant it. Really I did.

My guys did MS, while I allowed my sweet girl out of the double wide to roam the MS play area. :headache: Tink, she was not. Ms. Priss was here! She pranced around the room, squeaking as she took every step. Laughing, giggling, curtsying as she moved. A little boy who appeared to be in the same age range as her attempted to approach her. Took a few steps in her direction, smiled in attempt to breach her personal space circle. His mom, so sweet and kind encouraged him to ‘go play with the cute little girl’. Poor mom. What she didn’t know is my girl is all female. Dainty…not always, sweet…sometimes, Cute…most of the time-except when she has ickies all over her face, Sweet…anytime…that is anytime she wants something, but most of all she is…well…how should I put it…? Trouble…well yes, but hormonal may be better.:rotfl:

As the cute little guy approached, she returned a cute, hello, baby-style smile. I heard the mom give an "AHHH". But I knew it wouldn’t last. Nope. Not a chance. My little Ms. Priss stamped her little squeaky feet right up to the little boy. The little boy gestured to climb up in the play center. He even tried to grab her hand to help her in.

She wasn’t having it. She threw her head to one side and gave him a squeak of her own.

He tried again. This time, going behind her and giving her a little push on the tush, as if that would help make her move upwards.

It was all real cute. I couldn’t think, but how cute he was being to her.

BUT…She put her hand on her hip and screamed.

No I mean SCREAMED, “AHHHHH! BOOOYYY nauheee…whaaaa!”:scared:

And that was it.

Over.

The relationship began and ended in seconds. For all I know he could have been an heir to the Croc fortune, her future husband…25 years from now that is.

But NO, my girl wasn’t having it.

Yet again, I apologized…this time to the little boy and the mom. Nicely explaining that my little, cute sweet little girl that I always dreamed of having…was…well, trouble.:sad2:

I was very happy to see my DH & DS exiting the ride area. Whew. It was time to move on. The only problem was when we exited MS; it was no longer dry outside. Instead the heaven’s opened up on us. Seems they don’t like letting us have a WDW visit without at least making an appearance 1-10 days of our stay. At least this really was the only really bad rain while we were in the parks. We covered the kids in the doublewide with the stroller rain cover that never leaves the stroller. I went to grab the ponchos for DH & I, which I always leave in the basket. Not today though. No Soup for us! After a few not so nice mom words, Lil’l Diz Man speaks up and states Sissy was playing with them before we left the room for dinner. So poncho-less we were, standing just inside the MS gift area. DH & I decided to be gutsy and move our butts as fast as we could over to Test Track, so Lil’l Diz could at least ride it quick before calling it a rained out evening and hauling our tush’s back to the Boardwalk.

Remember it was raining. You guessed it. Test Track was shut down due to the rain. Bummer! DH & Lil’l Diz thought that it would be ohh so cool to ride it in the rain. The CM explained that it should start up again when the rain stopped. Just then we heard a car whiz by. So DH told me that I could go in with Lil’l Diz and wait if I wanted and he would stay outside under the giant Test Track sun/rain tarp. So that I did, I grabbed my lil’l guy’s hand and in we went (after obtaining a baby swap that is). We got all the way up to the front of the line and bam, the CM announced that TT was down. This time due to the possibility of lightening in the area. My Lil’l guy was bummed! Just bummed! We stuck it out for a while, hanging out in the line. I chatted it up with the CM for a while. But after close to ½ hour of waiting, I just couldn’t take it anymore. My cell battery was dead, so I had no contact with the outside world. I didn’t know if it was raining to the point that Noah would visit, sprinkling or a clear, moonlit sky. I was beginning to worry about how DH & Ms. Priss were fairing or if Tink came back. So I had had a little heart to heart with my Lil’l Diz and told him that it appeared that TT was not in the cards for the evening, but promised that we would be back…and sooner than later! So together we jumped the line and headed out FP’s lane, out to a perfectly calm evening! WHAT! Where was the rain? How about the lightening that was threatening our ride?

Guess What?

Just then…We heard it again…ZOOOMmmmm. Seriously it is just our luck. Don’t ever have us stand by you at a Poker Table. The TT cars were racing by again. In an instant the CM yelled that the ride was back up and in rushed the crowds. This time my DH grabbed Lil’l Diz’s hand and in they went. I had had enough waiting around for TT for one evening. :upsidedow

UP NEXT: POST 298...just down a bit.

Welcome back! :hippie: Loved this installment and I can visualize the Tink/boy episode perfectly! :rotfl:
How is the baby? Have you been eating him up?

How is the baby? Have you been eating him up?

You bet! He's 4 weeks now and a bit over 10 lbs. He has that adorable bemused newborn look still, where his eyes don't quite track together and he looks at you like, who ARE you? He's just starting to smile (we're sure it's on purpose!) and he has one little dimple on his left cheek

His sister (Tink's twin!) is taking his arrival well and gets lots of attention but man oh man that child is exhausting! I had her outside for a bit yesterday in the yard and she was playing with the neighbours cat. He likes her better than my cats do... but then he doesn't know her well yet! :lmao: Anyway while she was following him she spotted a very large... very deep puddle on the street :scared1: She made a beeline straight for it... running in her beginning runner toddler speedwalk, bum wiggle kinda way.... she's also a little hazy on the concept of curbs/steps so she 'forgets' she can't just walk off them. Luckily I was able to summon my super-gramma powers, race over to her and swoop her up in my arms before she literally dove into the water. Minnie didn't see this as 'luck' though... she just knew gramma had thwarted her plan to get very very wet and she let the entire street know of her displeasure! I'm sure she'll speak to me again someday :confused3

Say it aint so! Tink's got a sista? She is as naughty, but nice as Tink...oh...I bet her momma and grannie are gonna grey early!

I bet she forgave you already!

Yay!!! :yay: You're back!!

Great new installment. I love how Tink is selective in her men! She's a girl after my own heart!!

Looking forward to more!!!

Hello! I found your trippie from my trippie :rotfl: :rotfl: I wanted to say Hi and I will come back and read it. I saw the first pic and my heart melted. Cant wait to read it all!!! :thumbsup2

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL!

We made it back to the Boardwalk with out getting too wet. Everyone was completely exhausted so we headed straight to our room. I had vowed to my Dh that I would talk to the concierge about our TS points for Le Cellier when we returned. However being that we were so pooped, I decided to check back in the AM.

The next AM we again had plans to hit Epcot. I really can’t get over the fact at just how darn easy to walk or boat ride right over to Epcot from the Boardwalk. I can’t repeat it enough, just how much I LOVED this location! :cloud9: Now I can’t comment on the ease that any of the MK resorts are, as I just have never been lucky enough to stay at any of them. But, if you spend a lot of time at Epcot or MGM for that matter, then the Epcot Resorts are hands down awesome! Okay, I will get off my step stool now… for a while that is.

Today is a sad day for me. :sad1:

Today is a really sad day.:sad1:

Up to this point in our trip we had always had more days to go than days we have been there. Today marks the day that this starts to move in the other direction. Today is the middle of our trip. I know, I know…how lucky are we that day 5 is the middle. But to me, the middle always signifies reality. The reality that at some point our trip will end. :sad1:

I know, I know, cry me a river… But this day truly leave me with a strange feeling for the whole day. Dunno why, just does.

As sad as I was, I still got myself up and out the door before everyone. I left my kiddo’s in DH’s care while I did some investigating into our TS credits with the concierge. The concierge explained that she needed to print different receipts of our transactions, one showing all charges to our room, the other showing TS credits. When she printed the charges to our room, we found that the waiter from the night before did charge us $30 for our dinner. This charge matched the receipt I signed for the glow cubes & adult bevies, which we consumed. When she printed the TS credit transactions, we found that the waiter did charge us the TS credits, but minutes later he refunded them. The concierge told me to make another ADR for an additional restaurant. :confused3 WHAT?!? She was telling me use an extra TS, than I paid for? I told her that I was really not comfortable doing this. She assured me that there must have been some kind of reason that the waiter did this.

She asked if I received a YOAMD certificate while dining?
NO.

Did we have poor service?
NO.

Was our meal not to par?
NO.

She then told me she would call over there, if it made me feel better. But encouraged me to leave it alone and take it as an extra.

So there I stood…with the look of surprise as I had devil princessjv on one shoulder telling me…do it, do it. Then on the other shoulder sat the princess version of princessjv with the sweet voice, saying don’t you dare use it.

What did we do?

You will have to wait and see…:lmao: :flower3:

My troops arrived just as I was finishing up with the concierge. I was pleasantly surprised that my DH was able to get Tink all dolled up for the day’s festivities.

As he pushed her though the lobby she was address personally by the greeter, “Good morning Princess, you look lovely today”.

This made her feel extra special. Again, the staff at the Boardwalk treated us like rock stars! Daily we felt special, just for walking by them.

We were minutes away from Epcot opening, so we needed to book it out of there. On our way to Epcot, we stopped at the Boardwalk Bakery to grab a few breakfast items to eat on the go. The smells that protrude this place are amazing! But the usage of dining plan credits for breakfast is…well not so good! Being that we just ate at Main Street Bakery just the day before and were able to get a breakfast sandwich, bakery item & a beverage for 1 CS credit, we thought that we would probably be able to do the same here. Nope! You can have a breakfast sandwich or a bakery item and a beverage and that is it. Not the best use of dining credits, but we were in a hurry to get some food and get our butts into Epcot.

We made it just after opening. My Dh grabbed FP’s for Soarin while I walked slowly over to Test Track with the kiddos. DH caught up to us and we did the whole baby swap with TT, and then headed to MS to do more of the same. Trend. Yep. Those are ours (and most everyone else’s) favorites, so we do them over and over again. Makes my Lil’l Diz happy, therefore it makes Dh & me happy too!

By the time that I swapped with Tink, while we waited for our guys at the MS play area, Tink about had it. She was done! Ready for the next feat. Only thing was, we needed to wait a bit for:
1) The guys to finish riding MS
2) Our ADR time

So she melted…down to the ground for a little Princess Fit. Yep right in the middle of the floor…

I already feel this about my upcoming trip. I am trying to imagine it being over and learning to live with it. :sad2:

So wait....the waiter didn't charge you anything??? Oppss. Does that mean he didnt get a tip for himself too????
