Off-site vacation condo/home?

I haven't been over to "this side" for 5 years when I went to DW and stayed at the Poly. Since then, I've been over on the DL part of the DIS boards. Well, we are wanting to return to DW but not sure we can afford to stay on-site. I remember there were threads on off-site places DIS members recommended when I was researching 5 years ago and can't find it now.

Can anyone point me to the right direction? Thanks!!

We used All Star Vacation Homes and had a great stay. They have condos as well as private homes with their own pools. Not a bad drive to DW. The house we stayed in was beautiful, clean, well-maintained. A few minor issues were quickly taken care of by the mgmt office. Would definitely stay with them next time we are off-property.

Go to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions subforum and you will find threads about condos.
I highly recommend Windsor Hills - we stayed there two years in a row at two different condos and had a really great time. It's very close to the parks, beautifully landscaped with a great pool.

Thank you for pointing the way for me! Windsor Hills is one that I remember thinking I would try that if we ever couldn't stay onsite. Thank you!!

I had a friend who stayed through Windsor HIlls and she loved it! They have four kids and just couldn't find the right fit for their budget onsite.

Bonnet Creek is another place I hear wonderful things about and it is on property although considered offsite.

Thank you! I just can't believe how my family got hooked on Disney! My DH and I had never been when we took our first trip to DW in 2005. We've since gone to DL twice and now I'm looking into DW for next year. Our families and friends think we are crazy, I think, but I can't imagine going anywhere else now! Love the DIS boards and am so thankful I stumbled upon them 5 years ago.

Those are all good places to stay in Orlando, you really can't go wrong. I would also look at Vista Cay Holidays. I have recommended this property to friends and relatives many times and they are always happy with the service and accomodations
