We'll be going next Friday -- and staying off-site Friday before checking into VWL on Saturday.

We will eat out Friday off site and probably Monday off-site. We will have a car.

I am familiar with Cross Roads restaurants (Jungle Jims) -- but wanted some other opinions.

We have two DDs (4 1/2 and 19Months) -- plus my Mother will be with us. Obviously -- kid friendly is important -- I'm not looking for fancy - but dont' want fast food.

THANKS

How about Rainforest Cafe in DTD? There is also Perkin's Family Restaurant at Crossroads.

Is the Rainforrest Cafe a zoo? (no pun intended!)
Do you need reservations?
Perkins is definitely an option also.... followed by the "marble slab" icecream place....!

At certain times, Rainforest can get busy but we have never waited that long. It a great way to keep kids entertained! I'm not sure about reservations.

We're going next Friday too! How about Lonestar or Rays Macaroni Grill? Both have been good for us offsite. TGIFs in Crossroads is also pretty good.

Our favorite off site restaurant is Bahama Breeze. We've always had great food and excellent service. Other places we like are Macaroni Grill and we just tried the Orlando Ale House and enjoyed it a lot.

I 2nd. the Rain Forest Cafe, its very "kid" friendly, lots of stuff to keep them
occupied. pluse the food is pretty good too.

Just got back....we had great service and food at Macaroni Grill...and also at TGIF at crossroads shopping center. We did Perkins for breakfast...good food and lousy service. We did Perkins for dinner once....okay food and okay service. Good Luck!

The Olive Garden is close, so is Chili's. Macaroni Grill is crowded most times.

I second the vote for Giordano's.

Wasn't there a Tony Roma's there by Giordano's? I don't remember seeing it when I was there last week.

We like Pebbles at the Crossroads SC. Good food and service.

I have to agree with Ralph. We stayed off-site last March and found Pebbles early in the trip - we ended up eating there a couple of times during the week. Our 5 y.o. daughter was with us, and she enjoyed the place as well.

If you come out to the Crossroads from Downtown Disney, turn left and Chili's is on the left about 3 traffic lights, by the Macaroni Grill.

Our favorite is the Orlando Ale House - excellent food, extensive menu & very reasonable prices. :cool1:

Bahama Breeze and Steak and Ale very good.

This week ate for first time at Kobe Japanese steak on I-drive. We thought it was excellent food and good value, plus if you get a good chef he keeps the kids entertained by interacting with all the guests at your table. This was our best off-site meal this time.

I live here in Orlando and I second the Ale House. Great specials, cold beer, fun atmosphere.

Bahama Breeze, Orlando Ale House, Perkins. I know you don't want fast food, but DH and I always hit Sonic, there are none anywhere close to us and we love the food!
