Off Site Resturant Recommendations

Our favourites are Outback Steak House (LBV by Premium Outlets), Bennigans & Olive Garden (I.drive) & Bubba Gump at Universal. :)

So many nice resturants. We have definately decided Tony Romas and Chillis. We might try Ponderosa for a buffet breakfast.

Another vote for Golden Corral- my mouth is watering thinking about it!!

Also love:

Outback Steakhouse
Fishbones on I-Drive
Bennigans
Longhorn Steakhouse

I hope you don't mind somebody from out West piping in, but My family's favorite steak and ribs place is called Texas Roadhouse. I checked on their website, which I won't link to (but just type in texasroadhouseDOTcom), and they are opening one in Orlando in July!

4 things you have to like if you eat at Texas Roadhouse:

1. Steaks and Ribs (Ok that's two, but work with me)
2. Yummy fresh baked (and I mean right out the oven) yeast rolls.
3. Peanuts (They bring a bucket of in-the-shell peanuts to the table)
4. Country Music -- (Hey, it's Texas, after all).

It it relatively inexpensive and the Ribeye is amazing, the sirloins are awesome and the ribs are fall-off-the bone scrumptious!

We have had a nice steak in crackerbarrel, varied menu, they also have daily specials at good prices, nice country feel to the place with cute shop attached:hippie:

thanks for starting this thread Michelle, we are looking for some ideas for the three nights we are spending out of Disney

Our favourite is Bahama Breeze (LBV)- we tried it for the fist time last December for my dad's birthday and we're hooked!
Also, Golden Corral is fantastic value. We used to go to Ponderosa, but there is absolutely no comparison with the quality and variety of food at Golden Corral!
We also like:
Outback (LBV)(mmm those cinnamon apples...)
Chillis
TGI Fridays (Jack Daniels sauce is gorgeous)
Lone star steakhouse (for a cheap quick lunch)
Bennigans (white chocolate chill-out dessert...need I say more!)
Cicis Pizza (excellent value for all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and they have gorgeous dessert pizzas)

We used to like the Ponderosa, but now much prefer Golden Corral. I love the steak, DD who has been a very picky eater also loved their steaks. DW just loves the variety of food on offer.
We had breakfast a few mornings there, and they have a great selection,
One word of warning tho. it can get very very busy in the evening.
Was disappointed with Denny's,
Cheesecake Factory is excellent, the deserts are HUGH and the portions on the mains are equally so. DD ordered the Factory Mud Pie, which has to be seen to be believed
Hard Rock Cafe is also quite good, but don't forget Jimmy Buffets (cheeseburger in paradise)
we also had an excellent meal in Pat O'Brien's on Citywalk
TGI Fridays is also worth trying out, they have a great selection on their kids menu

We all love Golden Corral, especially the kids. We can all have different meals-plenty of nice salads and veg etc (to counter balance all those burgers!!!). It's friendly, quick & cheap, although it can get very busy and feel a bit 'school hall'. We're on DDP this year but are eating 'outside Disney' one evening as going to a dinner show that takes two table service tokens, when we asked kids where they'd like to eat it was definately Golden Corral! You can access their web-site for locations and guide menu for each evening.

This year we are on the DDP so we only have one day we need to eat offsite, but there is so much choice.

we normally love

Golden Corral
Hooters
Jungle Jims
Bob Evans
Perkins
Uno
Chillis
sweet tomatos

so don't know which we will pick
