We have changed our plans and we're staying off resort. We figure as long as we get to Disney that's all that matters. My question is how does it work if I buy tickets from Kissimmee Guest Services for tickets, how does the "free birthday" admission work?? does Disney then give me some money back on our tickets or is there something else that they do?? This is our first time off-site and we're excited to be going to Disney again.

Thanks all

Disney won't credit you any money back. You have your choice of 3 things: One day free admission to a park (no hopping), a gift card worth the cost of a single days admission (about $75), or the special birthday fast pass.

If you go for the park admission option then either buy a pass for one day less than you need, or buy a pass with the no expire option. That way you won't be wasting a day. I hope that makes sense.

I thought you had to first register on disneyworld.com the name and birth date of the person who's birthday it will be plus be in a park on that exact date. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but you might want to look into registering.
