Off Site Rental do you decorate?

For those of you going during Christmas but staying offsite, do you or have you decorated your room even though you aren't staying at a Disney property? Just curious! Thanks!

I have. The last time we were there at Christmas was a couple of years ago, and we stayed at Cypress Pointe Grande Villas. Since we drove that trip, I carried a small tree, and we put it up in the condo. This year we'll be arriving by plane on Christmas Day, so I won't do any decorating this time.

If you are staying in a rental home then you may well find the owners provide xmas decorations such as a tree for you .Obviously they wouldn't really like things pinned up on the walls etc.

The couple of homes we have stayed in over the Christmas holidays have supplied a tree. Something for you to check with the owners when you book but I doubt they would want anything pinned on walls as Jannyans says.

Thanks we aren't renting a home. We are staying in a hotel. I planned on bringing a small tree and the kids stockings. I thought about buying window clings but wasn't sure. One thing for sure, we can't wait!

I agree you need a tree!! Christmas just wouldn't be the same without one. Wish we were going too - just love Christmas in Orlando

If you have a Family Dollar nearby they have a ton of Disney Christmas window clings right now. Just an FYI!
