I currently have Amerisuites Universal booked for a couple nights for our family of 6 when we're visiting Universal for a couple days at New Year's. BUT, we have now lengthened our vacation to include the previous weekend in Orlando too.
I can get some good deals on West Irlo Bronson for us for that weekend, but the Amerisuites Universal is sold-out. We'll arrive late on Friday & want to be at Disney for a full day & night (Candlelight Processional dinner package booked) on the Saturday so I figure being closer to Disney would be better that night.
So would you "cheap suite"-hop or simply cancel the Amerisuites Universal and stay at cheap Irlo Bronson suites right through (before moving to our week in a condo). This would mean braving all the holiday traffic from there to get to Universal on Dec. 31 when we really want to get there first thing in morning to see the Grinch. So we just get up earlier? How early?
Or is it worth our sanity to take it easy on Monday 30 (i.e. non-park day) and switch to 1 night at Amerisuites Universal for this busy day.
Opinions please! So much help months before when I asked about traffic and here I'm going against the advice and booking in Kissimmee, but you see why....
