off-site hotels at Vero Beach

We are planning on visiting Vero Beach for the first time next Easter. We need an off-site hotel for two nights. Anybody out there have any suggestions. Also any info about VB good or bad would be appreciated. Never stayed there before - always on Disney property at DW. THANKS
