Off-site hotel question

Our first night at a disney resort is on a Saturday. Its an 11 hour trip and we are looking for a hotel within 30 minutes of Disney (coming from MS). Anyone have any thoughts on a decent and inexpensive hotel we should look into, the night before? We would be arriving very late and are initially looking at the Orlando area or closer, to cut down on drive time the next morning so we can arrive for EMH at 8:00 a.m.. How far of a drive would it be from Orlando? Thanks for any ideas.

The Clarion Lake Buena Vista is nice, and there is usually a special going for ~$40- $49 on Travelzoo. It is just around the corner from Downtown Disney.

The Hampton Inn at Downtown Disney is also nice, and the breakfast there is good too.

I second The Clarion Lake Buena Vista. This is our go to motel for our just a place to crash and shower trips. Cheap, clean and in a decent area.
