Ok friends I am in need of help. Our family has always vacationed onsite but this year we are meeting friends who don't want to spend the extra and my family is a little nervous about this off site idea. There are 5 of us so room size is important. Most of all we are concerned about the location to Disney. I don't mind being a little further if the property has an exclusive shuttle. I have read so many reviews on sites like expedia but I would like input from my fellow disers. A couple possibilities are The Crowne Plaza, Anaheim Mariott Suites, The Fairfield and HoJo. Any and all advise will be put to good use. Many thanks!!!:flower3:

Hojos is good for the budget, the rooms in Bld 1 are pretty decent sized, and if you get a room w/ 2 Q, you can get a roll away for $7 a night. However, I noticed your kids are young. If they are small enough, they may be able to fit in one Q bed, perhaps? Hojos also has a QQ suite w/ a sofa sleeper, but it's not always available, so you'd have to check w/ them for your dates.
The walk to Hojos is about 7 minutes. I felt the walk from DLH to the Main entry at DL was further than the walk from Hojo to the Main Entry. Hojo does not have it's own shuttle, but it's so close, you don't need one. If you do decide you need one, you can ride the ART. http://www.rideart.org It's not as bad as some say. I think it really depends on your route. I haven't ridden it in years because at Hojo's we didn't need it.:cheer2:

We always stay at park Vue Inn which is directly across the street from the entrance to the park. In November I'm going to DLR with my sister and her family (5 of us) and I just booked a 2 room suite for $148.00. One room as 2 queen beds and the other room as 1 queen bed. This will be my first time staying in one of the suites (we usually get a double queen room) so I can't tell you what the room is like but I do know the location is PERFECT! Just walk across the street and you're there!
