Off-site ECV Rentals

What do you suggest for an off-site ECV rental? My mother and her friend both need one for their trip in December. We need some suggestions for places for her to call since she needs one to get to and from the parks, not just to get around the parks. Thanks!

I had very good luck with this one. It was waiting at my hotel when I arrived and I left it there for them to pick up when I left. It was a 3 wheeled ECV for a week for $197.00. http://www.walkermobility.com/products.htm

If you check past posts you will find several other ECV rentals. I will be renting one on my upcoming trip due to a bad b ack. I still have decided which one to rent. I will not need it for a full wk.

My mom had used Walkers a couple of times and will be using them again in two weeks. Excellent service and the scooter will be waiting for you at luggage services. Just drop it off at the same place when you leave. They charge your credit card the night before you arrive.

All of the companies in the disABILITIES FAQs thread are ones that DIS posters have reported good experiences with many times over the past 6 years since this board began. I would not be concerned about renting from any of the ones listed.
We rented from Randys' in March and had a good experience.

I decided at the last minute (night before my trip) to rent from Randy's. Excellent service - showed up exactly on time in my room to give me detailed instructions - which I needed as a novice. It was a very thorough introduction. Not just a quick 2 minute review.

The scooter itself is slightly ratty (frayed handle bars and broken basket), but I figure that's what I get for a last minute rental. I'd rather have this (seat is perfect) than not have one. It was $175 for a week.
