Off-site Dining ?

We will be staying at Cypress Pointe and would like some suggestions for good seafood, steak and/or pizza restaurants near there. How far is Downtown Disney from there? We will have a rental car available. Thanks!

we love Uno's Chicago pizzeria. It's right near the entrance to WDW--I think it's on Hotel Plaza Blvd. in the Crossroads shopping Center. We hated the Crab House in the same shopping center--been twice and hated it twice!

Bahama Breeze is good, and the atmsosphere is fun and festive.

Oh, we LOVE Cypress Pointe! I'll be missing it this time when we're crammed in a room together at POR. It's amazing what I will do for free food.

Chevy's I've heard is great. It's mexican. I've also heard (from DisneySteve on this board) that Flipper's Pizza is very good. I believe both of these are in the Crossroads Plaza.

Oh, and to answer about how close you are to DTD............you are closer than some of the Disney hotels........I think it was less than a mile, a mile tops. Have fun!

I have said it before and I will say it again....We love Steak N' Shake! They have a web-site and many locations inthe south east. Several in Oralndo. for under $10 you get a great shake and a sirloin burger and fries. It is delicious...son;t stone me for all of you west-coasters..but it's better than in-n-out which we also love.
