Off-Road Segway Tour Coming?

Screamscape.com is reporting that some guests have been told that WDW is working on an "off-road" style Segway tour in the Fort Wilderness area using the Segway XT cross-terrain model. Here's a link ; the notice is under Resort News toward the bottom of the page.

We have seen this model at Epcot. So I am not surprised if this is true.

When we took our segway tour this December our instructors said that there was a new "tour" in the works for the near future! Maybe this is what they knew was coming!

Now if they can just make one with a maximum weight of a little more then 250 lbs........

When I did the tour in December, the CM talked to our group about this new possible tour. Here's what we published in the Dec 7th Magically Speaking:

New Segway Around the World Tour
Rumor is, the Segway folks at Epcot are in the planning stages of putting together a new tour, this one "off-road"! Using the XT model Segway, this new tour might be set in the Fort Wilderness area.
