I would really like to go to a few different off property restaurants! We have a car so are happy to drive so can everyone throw some recommendations at me please!

We love Bahama Breeze, Miller's Ale House (Cheap different deals each night), Maggianos (massive yummy italian dishes), Tony Roma's.
We went to Ponderosa breakfast every morning, they have your general breakfast buffet but also big salad bar (that's always quieter and cleaner) sounds crazy but after junk food for every dinner it's quite refreshing!

Most of the above are on Hwy 192 ( West End heading for Hwy 27 )

From Disney Springs area head towards Animal Kingdom & Turn Left onto Sherberth Road & that leads to Hwy 192

Then Turn Right onto Hwy 192 .

Others are on Orange Blossom Trail ( Hwy 17 -92 ) Leading north towards Florida Mall

Love the Cafe for it's simplicity.

The Tavern in Celebration does good food too!

I love Perkins!!! The Chocolate Pie is SOOOOOOOOO good!!!! You can walk there from DTD too! I also really like Red Lobster!!

If you are heading to Universal and like Sushi/Burgers, try cowfish! Its AMAZING!

We enjoy Columbia Restaurant in Celebration Fl. Pleasant Cuban Fare, it has locations in other Florida cities too but is not a national chain. Nice relaxed Floridian feel. Indoor and outdoor seating. If you enjoy an adult beverage the White Sangria (pitcher is mixed table side) is very nice.
