Off Property Owner Verification

I have read on these boards about verifing the owner of an off site property. Can anyone tell me how to go about this?

For Osceola County (which would be many of the popular places like Windsor Hills, Emerald Island, etc.) you can check at http://ira.property-appraiser.org/. You need either the owner name or address for your search, and it will bring up the property tax records to confirm ownership. Hope this helps!
