Hi Girls! We are in the final countdown til the wedding and my moh and I want to go get our nails done off property. Does anyone know a trustworthy place or should we just stay at Disney!?!?!

Decisions... Decisions!!

This doesn't really answer your question but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway;)--

My mom has recently started getting "shellac" manicures and she swears by them. I guess they last 2 to 3 weeks and do not chip a bit. She basically has to re-do it just when the growth starts to show at the nail base. So you could consider going that route and getting it done at your home nail salon before you even leave home.

Have you looked into the mandara spa at the swan and dolphin? That's where we are going :)

i want to second this - i did a french with the gel polish/shellac on the wednesday before we left for the wedding (1/19),and actually my nails still look great. they are fairly short, so that makes a difference as well.

good luck!

There is a mandara spa at the Swan and Dolphin? How did I not know this? I have been to mandara spas in other cities and loved them. Two thumbs way up. I was going to use the GF spa but I might have to reconsider now...

Also - Pooh's Corner - when is your date? I'm from ATL too and my date is 4/2. :thumbsup2

If you've got a car, I'd suggest a place called Posh Nails. They are located right behind IHOP on 535 just before Palm Parkway. We had our nails done on a Saturday morning with just a small wait even though we made reservations. Their prices are just like your standard nail salons at home if you're on a budget. If not, i'd splurge on the spa:love:
