Hello all - are the Flametree tables by the water moveable? My consultant suggested having our reception there but I would like bigger tables or at least be able to move them for some dancing space.

Also - I need a little guidance. I am having problems with my consultant getting back to me in a timely manner. My wishes wedding is April 17, 2012 and we have been working on this reservation for a year in June and I haven't received any papers to sign. Sometimes it takes months to get an answer from simply not responding to emails or phone messages - I haven't been hounding my consultant but I am starting to get a little stressed. According to the passporters wedding book guidelines, we are cutting it really close. My consultant did say everything is going smoothly when last we talked and even agreed that I should send out save the dates, so I am about to do that. Should I be worried that my wedding isn't set in stone yet? Has anyone else had to ask for a new consultant? I'm afraid this experience is ruining a little bit of the magic.

The tables at Flametree Barbeque are not permanently attached to the ground. Whether Disney will move them for you seems to depend on park management, but if you consultant is saying it's OK, then you should be good to go.

I'm sorry if my book somehow gave you the impression that being 12 months out is cutting it really close. In Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding time, 12 months is AGES... they have so many other events going on that they don't usually really ramp things up til about 6 months out. It's not that your consultant isn't interested in you, s/he just has a lot of other events that take priority right now. When your turn comes, you'll be the one taking priority. :goodvibes

Since you are now past your 12-month mark, you should start to see more activity on your wedding plans. You should be clear to sign your contract if you're doing a Wishes event, and you will need to sign your contract before Disney will send out their Save the Date emails to your guests.

awesome - thanks for the help :thumbsup2

Sorry - I am a worrier if things don't look like they are going the way they are supposed to.
