Odds of Last Minute Booking?

We are in the process of buying a 150 point resale contract. We won't close until early October, and then, of course, we'll have to wait for Disney to get the new points into the system.

What are the chances of our being able to book a last minute week anywhere in WDW in a studio or a one bedroom? I know December has long waitlists already, but I'm wondering about the very end of October or anything in November except Thanksgiving.

No real chance at all for 2008. Sorry.

I called this week for a studio Nov 7-10 and they didn't have anything for the entire 3 nights. So I asked about Nov 14-17 and they did have a studio at OKW.

So there is hope!

You would need to very flexible and willing to use the waitlist.

It would be easier to get something between the second half of January and mid February. Even the spring break (Mid-February to March - April) would be easier at this point.
