Odd Tibkerbell trailer on 2007 PP movie

We were watching the 2007 platinum edition of Peter Pan, we were watching the trailers at the end one of which was Tinkerbell! Question is: the trailer was WAY different than the actual Tinkerbell movie that was released in 2008! It was a totally different story line... A tinkerbell I've never seen before... Does anyone know the answer to this?!? I've googled and can't seem to find the answers... I figured someone on the Dis has to know!!!

This is not uncommon for animation films. Sometimes they release trailers way far in advance and then something happens and they change the story or cut huge parts out that are in the trailers. Sadly, they can't take back the trailers that are already released.
