ODD SHADES OF GREEN QUESTION

We typically stay at a Disney Resort but with this upcoming years room prices we may give Shades of Green a try. I just can't justify paying 300 dollars a night at POR vs. 164 dollars at SOG especially with the bigger room and balcony at SOG. I have done a lot of reading but the one thing I can't find info on is whether or not you have access to Disney Resort TV. I have to be honest I will be sad if I can't watch the Must Do's over and over again.

I can't answer your question with 100% certainty, but I don't think Disney Resort TV is available in the SOG rooms.

Enjoy your stay... we ALWAYS stay at SOG but splurged on Beach Club for our upcoming trip this fall. I am so worried we're going to miss Shades! Its definitely our Disney home!

I stayed there in 2004 and loved it. Since then we had always been able to get a room for about the same price at a moderate with the discounts that were being offered. Our children were smaller so it made sense. They will be 18 and 12 on our next trip and honestly you can't beat the rate of 164 a night and the size of the room for what is basically 4 adults. I am excited about the balcony and the fact that they serve Starbucks coffee. If there is in fact Disney resort TV that will be the icing on the cake so to speak.

All of that...plus it is always so much more quiet and peaceful than Disney resorts!

Yes there is DISNEY resort tv! We have stayed many places at Disney world and I think our kids actually like shades the best. They keep asking to go back. The price is great as the buffet is awesome. Great price and lots of options.
