Odd but very tasty foods

A radish sandwich. Just radish slices, butter, and salt on nice fresh white bread. Yummm.

My father does the radish/onion/butter sandwiches. I am partial to potato chips(of varying flavors) on my hoagies. Mustard on pizza and also on meatball sandwiches. And I also do cheese on just about anything. I love the cheap cheese sauce you get on nachos. That's like a food group by itself for me. I'll dip anything in that stuff.

I don't think you are crazy...I LOVE  peanut butter and bacon sandwiches..try it on toast..the peanut butter melts and it's soooo yummy...

I made my hubby try one once, he agreed that it was much better than he expected and usually eats a few bites of mine now and again.

Also, peanut butter and raw carrot sticks is pretty good.

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: Me, too! DH thinks I am nuts, but then again, I think he is nuts to eat a mayo and cheese sandwich! To each their own I guess.

I think I know what I'm having for dinner tonight...time to cook me some bacon! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

not a meal but a good snack option is sour cream and onion chips with a cucumber slice in between like little sandwiches. Sooo good! My friend and I combined our snacks on the bus one day and this is what we came up with.

When I was younger I used to eat Butter-Cheese Sandwiches, which were basically uncooked Grilled Cheese with the butter on the inside.

I do that, too!!! Dh thinks it's weird, but I explained that it's just like a grilled cheese - just not grilled - and he still looks at me like I'm odd. :rotfl:

One of my favorite sandwiches is grilled peanut butter - just like grilled cheese except substitute peanut butter for cheese. Sometimes I add a few chocolate chips - they melt with the peanut butter - YUM YUM!!!

Instead of substituting the cheese....keep the cheese in there with the peanut butter!! WONDERFUL!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I love to dip those penny pretzel sticks into cream cheese. Cream cheese and salami sandwiches on rolls are totally awesome. And hands down my favorite leftovers snack is a big green salad with Good Seasons italian dressing and hot Rice a Roni. It's delicious!!

And don't get me started on ramen . . . .

Not mixed together or dipping it, but DS & I love to drink Orange juice when we eat popcorn. Not sure why we started this, but we both like it. DH thinks we're wierd.

Sis used to eat PB sandwiches with ketchup on them. Sometimes added plain potato chips. Yuck!

I can understand that....I like to drink OJ with chips. It must be something to do with the salt.
With popcorn....I like to eat a hunk of sharp chedder cheese. Something I picked up from my parents.

That is actually very popular in Europe, especially Eastern Europe. I have friends who put katchup on the pizza and pasta. It actually isn't that bad.

So this is where my grandma gets it... :) ....She actually makes goulash w/ ketchup and we have mac and cheese w/ ketchup on it, and her pizza sauce is ketchup w/ italian seasonings. All are good, if not a little odd.

Hello. Dannyboi's back. I'm surprised all the replies that I've gotten. Now I have many ideas for snacks, dinners and all stuff. There should be a "freak out" party for all these weird dishes. Now, I give you the second dish. I made this Dish all by myself, my mom didn't want too (scardy) . Let it be called...

Octopus and Squid noodles with Oriental veggies!
Oddfood2.jpg

This is probbabbly the best dish I made. Its so simple to do. One pack of Ramen Noodles, one pack of pre-fozen veggies, One pack of pre-frozen squid, and two cans of diced Octopuss legs (I couldn't find any full octopuses at the fish place.) I boiled the noodles seperatly then put the pre-frozen veggies and the squid in another pot. Then I put all of it in one bowl.

How it tasted?
Its just a strange texture, like boiled eggs. But it tastes 10/10 good, its probbably what you'd find at a good resteraunt for half the price.

I love Frosty and Fries! But my boyfriend is the true weirdo. He puts banannas in his chilli, on his pizza, pretty much with everything almost. YUCK!!!!!! :crazy2:

When I was growing up my dad ate peanut butter, banana & mayo sandwiches.

My mom would put peanut butter and syrup on a plate, mix it together and eat it.

When I was in high school lots of people would put salted peanuts in a bottle of Coke and drink/eat it.

I don't think this is too weird, but I do like mustard on a sausage biscuit!

When I started reading your post, my first thought was "this person is from the south because I have done or do all of those". Then I saw you were in Jacksonville and it all made sense....I'm from Anniston/Oxford. Oh and who can eat a sausage biscuit and NOT put mustard on it? :confused3
