What are the ages in the family? My daughter and I split the cost and got one several months ago and love it. But, there are a few things that we found: we both wear glasses and if I don't wear mine, I get a really bad headache when playing on the system.
The games we have and like: epic Rollercoaster, that's a lot of fun if you get the full version instead of one theme at a time (like Halloween, Christmas, etc). Vader Immortal is fun, though I'm pretty terrible at it. My daughter likes I Expect You To Die 1 and 2 (James Bond type games). Tetris is okay, not my favorite and Jurassuc World makes us a little queasy.
Make sure you have clear space around you to play or you may end up bumping into stuff. You don't necessarily need a large space, but you'll want to find an area to play where you're not hitting up against furniture, hurting yourself and breaking stuff.
Overall, I think it's a fun system, I wish there were Disney and Harry Potter games to play on it, but that's a personal preference.
