I've read that the average high temp. is around 85 degrees. Does it cool down at night? How cool can it get? I will be in WDW from 10/18 to 10/25 with a 2 year old and a 3 month old and I want to dress (especially the infant) accordingly. We will be attending MNSSHP on the 22nd and I'm also wondering how to dress my 2 year old costume wise.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

The weather is normally very nice at night at the end of October. I usually take a sweatshirt since I tend to be a little cold natured. We have always worn long sleeved tshirts at night that time of year going to MNSSHP. It is usually warm the first part of the evening, but by late evening it can be a slight bit chillly! I would not dress the children in heavy hot costumes...or if you do, at least have extra clothes to change to. At the same time, if you dress them in lightweight costumes you might want to carry a light jacket...

Well we were there last year from the 16-23 and for us it was HOT during the day that we caved and bought that darn 18 dollar fan.. The nights cooled to the point of comfort, none of us ever needed a light coat, but I would carry one just in case, especially for the baby.. Have fun!!! And Please make the halloween costumes LIGHT!! You can always add a shirt under it or a light coat, but you Cant take it off, unless the kid wants the costume off...

We were there October 25th-November 1st last year and I agree that it was very hot during the day and even quite hot at night.

The advice about lightweight costumes for MNSSHP is right on the money. We saw quite a few people dressed in heavy costumes who looked really miserable because of the temperature.

There were a couple of evenings in October last year where we put a sweatshirt on. We still wore shorts though. This was the end of October.
