Just wondering when others who are (or who have) gone to "the world" in October actually book their flight. It being an off season without direct flights puts a different spin on when to book the airline.

We booked a cruise via a TA and she is going to do the booking but I am sitting back wondering when she will actually do this part of the trip. It was too ealry when the cruise was booked, flights weren't listed yet.

Anyone?

Jetblue is booking up to 31 October 2008.

We have booked our flights already. Adult direct flight from Syracuse to Orlando $84.00 down and Orlando to Syracuse $84.00 back.

Love Jetblue.

For our October 2007 trip, we purchased our tickets in January 2007. I'm not sure about all airlines, but NWA (who we usually fly with) allow you to book 352 days in advance. We haven't booked our tickets for our October 2008 trip yet, but will most likely do that after we return from our May trip to the World.

I've had good luck booking in June, July and early August for flights in late Sep. and early Oct. It kiils me to wait for this long when I've got my Disney reservations made, but flights on the US carriers don't drop much until 8-ish weeks before departure. I've done this with Continental and Delta from Halifax, and I'm planning the same for this fall too!:thumbsup2
