Anyone have any thoughts on the weather in October/November cruise.. we are going 10/29/05 and will be there for Halloween... ::MinnieMo

An excellent time of year to cruise, especially for Halloween....Although technically still hurricane season, end of October is statistically less chance of one than August and September....Nevertheless, you should have warm temps and smooth seas....

My family and I have cruised every October for the last 5 years. WE LOVE IT! We, too, are on the October 29th Magic sailing. We have always has wonderful weather ....nice temps and easy sailings!

Hope to "see" you on our thread! :earsboy:

I just booked the 10/22. I hope the weather will be warm enough and the seas calm. I couldn't decide between this one (Western) or the 10/29 (Eastern). Guess the seas that time of year would be about the same?

afoss, we will be on the 10/22/05 cruise also. Jump on over to the cruise meet board, we have a great group forming. One cruiser has also put together a great website for us 10/22 cruisers! Hope to see you over there.

Any new additions to the 10/23 Wonder cruise?
Last Oct./Nov. the weather was great! Hoping for the same this year!

My family is also travelling on Magic 10/29, so I am hoping all this crazy Hurricane stuff is all done by then.

I think the weather should be great. We were on the Western cruise the last week of October last year. We decided it was such a great time to go that we are going Eastern (same cruise as you) on October 29.

Only 2 more months to wait!!!!

We've also done a cruise in October and loved it. We were on the Halloween Cruise and had a blast. The entire family brought costumes - as did MANY of our fellow cruisers. Some even offered trick or treating from the staterooms.

Have Fun!

What special events did DCL have for Halloween? Was the ship decorated differently at all? TIA

We went on a cruise the week of Halloween with another line a couple years ago. It was so great. Kids had a lot of fun on the ship. No hurricanes. That is late in the season... Plenty warm, too warm for us.
We booked one for Nov 2006 on Disney.
