When do the Halloween decorations go up? I've never been in October (well, not since they've started decorating) and I'm going on the 6th this year. Will I see the pumpkins?

And, does anyone know yet what the hours will be then?

TIA

I'm pretty sure Halloween decorations are up by late September or early October. I know they were up when I was there on the 9th this past year, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

As for hours, that week last year they had to increase hours because it was pretty crowded, so I'm not positive what will happen this year.

The Halloween decorations including pumpkins should be fully up by Friday, Sept. 25. :hmghost:

For a general idea, here are the hours from Oct. '08:

(In Oct. '08, Fantasmic was getting a refurb; so in Oct. '09 Fantasmic should be scheduled for the weekends.)

We were there last Oct. 6th & 7th, 2008. The decorations had been put up by the end of Sept...like the 24th or so. So you should see them for sure...I think I read somewhere that it is definitely up by end of Sept. They are so cute! You'll love them.

For hours...DL was only open 10 AM-8 PM. DCA was open 10AM-6 PM! I still have the Times Guide from last year, so I know those were the times, for sure. But, that was a Tuesday and Wednesday...mid-week...so not a busy time. But I've heard it's getting to be a more crowded time now (AZ Fall Breaks are around then)...so who knows?!

Either way, enjoy the adorable Mickey Pumpkins!!! :-)

There is a sticky for resort meetings and I have the May, July, October and three others currently. When I can I update them with any new info as you can see by my May Check In thread. The best thing to do is look at photos and stuff from 2008 to give you an idea of what will be going on this year.
