October Park Hours?

i have the calender from the offical wdw site in my favourites and i have been checking it every hour just looked 5 mins ago and still no luck

spectro is shown at 8 pm on saturday oct 2.
was told to expect spectro on saturdays

i was trying to type fast and maybe i didn't put that in.

i went back to correct two things already, had to edit couple of time events.
when i typed i hit 9 instead of 8 for spectro. fixed it ..


the cm told me anyone that calls they can give out all 411 on park hours/ parades/ etc.......... it wil be listed on wdw site, but not yet. she did not say when it will be except a lot of people have called and complained for the delay of releasing the oct calender.

my trip is oct 1-12
staying on site at disney
going over to halloween horror nights at universal on the sat and sun (9-10)

want to hit them all.

going to mnsshp on oct 3 a sunday.

would love to meet over dis ers. i went to one thread for oct dates but there are so many i got overlooked.

should we hijack this thread and make it a when are you going and do you want to meet other dis ers??????????
just a thought....i am too chicken to do that though.

sorry macraven, I don't think I read close enough in my excitement.

I just called Disney about my specific dates (because I am trying to plan around Spectro) and here is what I found:

Sat. Oct. 16 Magic Kingdom
9:00A-10:00P
3:00P parade
9:00P Spectro
10:00P Wishes

Wed. Oct. 20 Magic Kingdom
9:00A-6:00P
3:00P parade

Fri. Oct. 22 MGM
9:00A-7:30P
7:30P Fantasmic

I forgot to ask about refurbs. Has anyone checked on that?

macraven, we are going to just miss each other by one day, what a bummer! I will be there Oct. 13-20 and I am stayin at Disney's POFQ. And on Oct. 14, I am going to MNSSHP

And macraven, I think we should hijack this thread, well maybe not hijack it but make it our own little October meet board( that would work for me)! Maybe everyone could post what dates they will be at the World and where they are staying.

Does anyone know if we can find out about the refurbs mentioned in an earlier post. That concerns me more than the hours do. We are only two months from Oct., I'll be upset if some of the "bigger" attractions are down and we haven't heard anything about it yet.

I just went and looked at Disney World. com, to see if I could find anything out about the rufurbs for us. And I could only see two that will be closed in the month of October( of course once the hours come out this could all change).

Here is what I found:

The Boneyard will not be operating September 20 - October 14, 2004, however we recommend TriceraTop Spin as an alternative during this time.

And the 2nd one is "It's a small World"( which I think we all already knew about
that one).

I am sure the ruburb list will be updated once they put out the October Hours.

Thanks zen1! I checked screamscape as well. Sometimes they will come out with rumored rehabs. I felt pretty good until I read n2mm's post about the Oct. rehabs and how he/she is changing their itinerary. There are only a couple of rides I'm concerned about. Hopefully, we'll get lucky!

I'll echo the sentiments of the above posters. Even though I haven't posted on this thread until recently, I have checked it several times everyday. It has been so nice to be able to check in to see what everyone has found out. Thanks for keeping all of us posted! I truly appreciate it!

I just got a newsletter from All Ears. The only Oct. rehab that I wasn't aware of is Aladdin in MK. DD will be disappointed, but not devastated. I've been holding off on telling her about Small World until about a week before our trip. It's her absolute favorite and I'm expecting a few tears.

i'm in for that zen. its been a small group here from the beginning. not many have dropped by regularly. all that do drop in should feel free to follow your lead.

now that we have the october hours, its kind of a dead thread.
i think it would be swell for us to do as zen said. we can share our trip plans or thoughts.

i vote, yes, lets go for it.

zen, do you want to go first. i will follow after you. and please, anyone that has ever lurked or dropped by briefly, we want you to feel free to post. if you are shy, just pm a person you want to ask a question to. you might find out your trip is the same time as some one else. i came to this thread after it was started. think i came at the end of page 1. everyone was nice to me.

When is this supposed to be closed??

Oh, I'm worried about the rehab schedule. Last year we missed BTMRR. Already we're missing Small World this year. What else??

i will start calling disney to find out and post here when i do. i will make a list based on what you all here have said.

i go to mousesavers/allears/screamscape/mouseforless/disney echo and a couple more.
i know debs site has a current listing. the aladdin one i didn't know but then, i haven't read my newsletter yet......been on the phone too much..lol

from what i read, there are some closures for sept reopening late september. so were kewl with that.
i'll try to post a list within the next few days. if you know something that hasn't been posted yet, pm me to help me out.
