Hi All,

Thanks for all your efforts. I've been lurking on this thread, hoping for info. I appreciate all your work. I just hung up from DVC membe number. A very nice CM, Flora, helped me. We're going 10/23-10/29 and were hoping to catch Spectro Magic with my DS's (4.5 and 1) on the 10/23 night. The CM just confirmed for me that the MK park is open 9am-10pm that day and Spectro is at 9p and Wishes at 10p. Of course, we were hoping for a later seating at LTT, but there are none after 5:45. Oh well, at least we'll see the Parade.

Maybe if you have other specific dates you're interested in, now's the time to call.

i'll explain. when someone says 411 , they mean information.
in the united states, if you pick up your phone and dial 411, an operator will answer and say information plelase.

to say 411, is a shortcut way to say you need info (information)

skiptomypooh, try to make a later ressie at LTT. The later opennings start showing up as you get closer to that date. We often hold our ressies and then call weeks prior and get later ones.

someone just emailed me a toll free number i can use to call disney for the hours..............now they send it.........but i am grateful..........

Last month is wasn't even a day between you knowing and us knowing. They probably load the main system, then move to the official public site.

The hours are to be expected, nothing major here. I was disappointed in the lack of Wishes and Spetro being showed during my 12 night trip, but expected that with the party nights. Please note that there are ALOT of refurbishing coming up in September and October, so pay attention to that too (there are going to be a few disappointed folks here--I am presently making some schedule adjustments for us now.)

the cm at disney are giving the 411 on parades, fireworks and times of each park.
i got them, will give them to yhou.

but all 411 is now being issued to callers.

Oct 1 hours 9-6 no parade or spectro magic. mnsshp 7-12 fireworks
oct 2 hours 9-9 spectro at 8 wishes at 9 parade 3
oct 3 hours 9-6 mnsshp 7-12 special fireworks
oct 4 9-8 no parade wishes 8
oct 5 9-9 spectro 8 wishes 9 parade 3


i;ll keep typing this is a starter for some of you

spectro is the parade
wishes is the special/new fireworks with the music

mnsshp is mickey not so scary halloween party. no regular parade on those dates.

oct 6 & 7 hours for mk 9-8 no day parade wishes at 8

oct 8 hours 9-6 no parade or wishes mnsshp

the rest of the month is the same pattern.
on mnsshp nights there are no regular day parades and no wishes on those dates.
closing is at 8:00 after the 10/9 saturday.


epcot hours for entire month of october 9-9 illuminations 9 every night
9-9 first part of park and 11-9 at the showcase.

forgot to list this for mgm
the daily parade at mgm will be at 3:30
aalso hours Oct 1-9 are 9-8 from oct 9 on hours will be 9-7:30


cm told me that the hours could increase depending on room capacity . meaning if the rooms are selling out, disney can extend the hours at the park at magic kingdom and mgm.


whew.......................its been along road gang but worth it.
now when the calender comes up and it is different from this, go by the calender 411. cm said this is the 411 they were given this afternoon and subject to change. don't want any of you to think i fibbed on the dates/hours/parades etc

the cm said the hours will NOT decrease at all but could be increased (extended) depending on circumstances.......

for the few of you that extended their thanks, i appreciate your thoughtfulness. it makes all the time and money i spent getting this 411 worth it.

and wouldn't you know, the last call i made was on the toll free number....and i had no wait.

i will check the wdw calender and if i see it up, i will post here.

if you see it before me, please post so will all can share. remember, there could be changes as the cm told me.............

would like mk and mgm hours be extended, wouldn't you???
