I just noticed DHS has EMH from 6-9AM every day! Are these the free EMH? They would be interested in Toy Story Land. Am I correct that there are no FPs during those 3 hours?

They will only be going to parks for three days, but do get up early. They want to see Toy Story Land and do the rides. The rest of the day would be in Epcot. Dates they will be in WDW Oct 18, 19, 20.

We have AK the first day because we are staying at AK, and have character breakfast.

They are 6,7 and have never been to an amusement park.

Another question....is it wise to get to MK early and go on barnstormer before going on Seven Dwarfs? Their Dad thinks they can handle anything!

Our other set of grandchildren grew up going to WDW, beginning when they were 1,2 and 3. I need some guidance with this bunch!

Thanks for whatever suggestions you can offer. We have a boat reserved for MK fireworks for the first night after morning at AK, and afternoon at resort, Kidani.

You'll have the benefit of seeing how things have been as far as DHS is concerned.

If you think they can make the EMH, plan around that. But also book a FP on one of the rides in toy story land as a fail safe.

If you are going to get to the park that early, I would either plan a break in the afternoon, or go back to the resort early in the evening.
I also agree with getting a FP for one of the rides they really want to do.
Nobody knows how busy HS will be after SWGE opens. But with thee extended EMH, Disney is obviously expecting it to be very busy.

There is no FP during EEMH

Seven Dwarfs is pretty mello - what's the concern here? Barnstormer is less exciting than SDMT so your concern is they won't be able to take Seven Dwarfs? my Kids have been doin SDMT since they were really young, I wouldn't worry about it.

I was thinking I would get a FP for 7 Dwarfs, but first do barnstormer. We, DH & I, went to MK one morning the week of July 4 and found there was virtually no wait times, so if Barnstormer was a bust, we would immediately change the other things for tamer FP.

With only three days, we were going to skip Studios, but if they will be able possibly to see it, and even if they go on Aliens during the EMM time, it would be worth it, especially since they are expected to wake up early.

The only thing I see in your plans that I would switch is the character breakfast at AK. Is there no way to switch that to a lunch or supper? You'll miss out on the shorter lines at AK if you are having breakfast during those prime hours...

7DMT is super tame - they'll be fine. Honestly, Barnstormer is pretty boring, even for most kids. I'd go first to 7DMT or try to get a fp for it. I bet they'd like Splash even better, though! :) Have fun...

Ok...about Barnstormer. I will FP the others, yes, Splash!
Character Meal could be changed, I will check.

Is the character meal the same day as MK?

If that’s the case I would try and get into Crystal Palace. There’s always Chef Mickeys that close if you wanted to have a Mickey experience.

I will admit that barnstormer was the catalyst for my kids rollercoasters obsession, we found that out after we had it all planned though. In hindsight we would’ve been better to plan for them to be adventurous, but we still came out with a great time.

I like that,” plan for them to be adventurous!” That’s the way their dad wants me to plan!

Have fun, Bobbi.
DGD just turned 6 and she rides everything!
She started with Barnstormer as soon as she was tall enough.
Now it is too boring for her.

Do you have Park Hopper tickets? You will need them if you go to EEMH at HS and then to Epcot later the same day.
